I am asking here instead of TKZ because no one will answer my question.

1)How do we make the Fading Text Before the title screen (or really anywere else)

2)How do make NPC's that wander solid.

and 3) Do you guys know of any web sites where I can learn how to pixel draw.

1) I believe on the main site you can find a method pack. But a simple way is to just change the colour of the text. Like if you have a black background, bit, by bit, change the text to black.

2) I'm not sure if I understand, do you mean how to make them wander on solid tiles? Well I guess you could put them on a different board layer, simple as that.

3) Try <a href='http://pixel-zone.rpgdx.net/shtml/tutorials.shtml' target='_blank'>this site</a>. Or maybe <a href='http://www.toolkitzone.com/library.php?mode=read&doc=133' target='_blank'>this</a> may even help.

No I mean while they are wandering around we can just walk right through the NPC's as if they were ghosts. I want to know how to make them so you can't walk through them. Please.

Oh, simple. Have the items on layer 2, the player should be able to walk right under them. Make sure you set the tile types set up on layer 2.

No I want the NPC's solid. You know like how the character is solid you can't walk through them. Or like walls you can't walk through them. I don't want to walk under them.

It should be solid as default so long as the player and the NPC item are on the same layer.

I saw a really awesome pixeling tutorial site a little while ago, taught everything from dithering to anti-aliasing. Pretty sick stuff. I'll try to find it for you.  ^_^

Oh I understand now. But I thought you couldn't in the first place?

Oh wait; have you selected Player Presses Activation Key? I think if you have it otherwise, then they will.

If you have, I haven't an idea, because I could swear that you couldn't walk over items in the first place.

ok Let me find the Flickr website. photobucket automaticly resized it.

EDIT: I figured it out finally. I didn't have it set so it was a board item. My bad. But still does anyone have any great place where I can learn pixeling. The on you gave me DM doesn't give tutorials.

<random>
Yea I just wrote my first program with prompt or how ever you spell that. And I learned SQL. Yes I'm getting better!!!! I just hope soon I will be able to pixel and write really good programs ^_^.

Sorry, you're just going to have Google or Yahoo! some tutorials yourself, because I don't know were any are.

But, that MS Paint link I gave you, well, is a tutorial.

But if that doesn't work, I recommend, looking off of another sprite and kind of copy it (manually not with Copy and Paste).

Or, I know this isn't exactly making your own sprites, but <a href='http://charas-project.net/charas2/index.php' target='_blank'>this Charas Gen</a> thing kind of got me started to making my own sprites.

I think I got to a really good one from a link on the TKZ forums - probably in the screenshots place. I'll check it out in a minute.

MTGaming?  May I ask where you got that name?  That used to be my old sites name before my friend Tyler quit the RPGToolkit business (years ago....)

Sorry, off topic, but I saw the name and had to ask. Wink
