What happens afterward, e.g. if Retan and Kronos turn against each other, Romme and the Crimsons ally, etc. doesn't really matter.  All of that can flow naturally from when we pick things back up in chapter 11.  None of this needs to be planned.

Basically, I'm asking if everyone would like the setting change, and if most people are willing to let their characters "take a hit".  (Heh...)  In the new world, nations like Tjed and the Aspyes would exist in severely weakened, "struggling band of freedom fighters" type groups, if they still existed at all.

Also, Retan would cease to be a normal character, and become more of a plot device I use to direct the flow of the story, at least for a while.  E.g. If Retan throws a paralizing attack at one of your characters, you play along and have your character get hit by it because you know I'm going to use it to advance the story somehow, rather than dodge.  (This is a bit more than what we talked about via PM, Ein.)

DM: What I mean by the "good guys" are all the characters that would show up in two posts if someone suddenly showed up in the middle of the continent and started doing something catostropically evil.  (Heh...)

We don't have to discuss how long the chapter interlude will be right now.  We can do that after the chapter ends.

In other words, Retan effectively becomes a god Razz But that power is in good hands, so I assume you aren't going to use it for evil.

So, what you're suggesting is that during the break the world sinks into an anti-utopic setting? I like it

Now one thing, say if we had a long enough year interlude between chapters, like 10, Duilin would be 46. I know he does have an increased life span, and get now he looks like he is in his mid-early twenties. So if they were "frozen" would it count as them aging at all?

10 is a bit much.  I was thinking like 1 or 2 years, but we'll see.  If they're "frozen" then they wouldn't have to age.

Ein:  Of course it shall be used for evil!  Given the circumstances.  (Heh...)

2 years actually sounds good.

I actually have some plans for a couple of my characters at the end of the chapter, it will involve there to be a battle(s) near the end.

If you're are just going to have him mostly be a 'symbol' afterwards perhaps it would be cool if we had him in a fight at the end (That he wins of course).

Due to the fact that I shalth be punished by the infinite wrath of Xorlak if I post this in the game, I will say this here: Trent and Dudeman, you guys can't just march into the place where Draven and Horus are pwnin' nubz. It's guarded by two gigantic 1000-ton doors, and there is NO way you could blast them open, unless you charge an attack for like 10 posts Razz In other words, you will have to either explore the rest of the facility, or just sit the battle out. The doors were mentioned in the huge post with Horus' flashback. Even he couldn't bash them open with his maul! Surprised

Lady mistery: glad to have you!

Ein I asked you on MSN, and you said it was fine, what we did. And now you're criticizing me on this?

Or do you mean there are another set of doors, and you are telling us NOT to do something before we do it?

But yeah, that's fine. We will explore around. Maybe some more machines might pop out and attack the intruders *hint* hint*.

Where have I seen this before...But...It couldn't be...Ah! Right!
Now that I compare the two, I must say that Draven and Jayce have very similiar features! Heck, if I'd see this pictures as their own case, I'd think the two to be twins!
I'm either hallucinating or Xorlak's drawing style couses meanies to look similiar, even if they are of different species.
