What does Dippy's username mean?

Stupid, foolish, silly...A perfect name for him really. I would never really have it any other way.

What do you mean? Dippy is an actual word that means that?

Or do you mean how do I get silly and foolish out of Dippy the person?

Just read his comics and everything will make sense, or you'll go insane. Either way it'll solve your Dippy problem.

I mean how does the word "Dippy" have anything to do with the meaning "stupid, foolish, silly." Kind of like one of my conversations that was actually quite a while ago in which I tried to figure out how the phrase "honkey tonk badonkey donk," which I believe is a name for a type of piano, has anything to do with the female's buttocks. And if you don't get the reference, it is a country song, just so you know. And we all know country music sucks....

*Hides from country music fans*

Well how does the word "Game" have anything to do with the words "amusement or entertainment"? Or how does the word "Vocabulary" have anything to do with the words "terminology or language"?

Dippy is a word, an actual word, which actually means stupid and foolish. Look it up.

EDIT: Ah, I looked it up myself on wiktionary and it says that it means "lacking common sense". Yet silly, stupid and foolish mean just about the same thing. Wink

Like I've said on several occasions, you learn something new everyday.

I didn't know it was a real word, though, so I assumed it had some sort of reference or something, unlike most slang words (or atleast popular ones today) that have almost nothing to do with their meaning.

MS needs a makeover like TKZ. We could grab a few more people then. The forum structures a little boring as well but I love it here anyways =).
