I can't stand how much Microsoft has made my computer suck. Nothing works for it. I can't even come home and listen to some music because NO media player works for my computer anymore. Despite the fact I go and download an old version of something, they managed to find some way to make it not work.

Windows 98 SE was fine, and then they screwed it up. The realized that they wouldn't make any more money unless they made something new that makes the old ones suck. That's what it's all about, money.

I'm too poor to afford anything better, and I'm too stupid to get a job. I have such an anger problem because of my shitty computer that my mom openly admitted to hating to be around me. Not that I can blame her. I'm a pain in the ass. If my son was coming home and yelling everyday I'd beat the shit out of him.

You know what else I hate? The show Metropia. It's literately a porn movie without the porn so you just have a bunch of stupid people doing stupid things and they really suck at doing it.

I hate Metropia, I also hate Street Sense. I'm very sure none of you know what Street Sense is (or Metropia, but that one doesn't matter) but it's some show where they talk about new things, good things, bad things and a lot of stupid things, and when I watch it I honestly can not respect these peoples' opinion and what they say.

Like they complain about how they photoshop models in magazines then they complain how beauty products don't make you look as good as they can. What the hell? Another thing I saw was them talking about this new type of cell phone text messaging and you talk and then it types down what you are saying and sends a text message to them. What's the fucking point of sending a text message if you're going to speak out the message and send it to them!? Why not just fucking TALK TO THEM!?

I hate people.

I feel the same way sometimes, I honestly do.

My computer acts shit all of the time.  I've done everything I can do for it.  I've put too much money into it, and I'm tired of putting money into it.  When it fucks up the last times and it dies, either by itself or me punching a big ass hole in it, I'll just be computerless for a little while.  I upload all of my game files to a website so I'll have them if my computer kicks it and I have to get a new one... however long that may take.

Everyone on the internet tells me "don't look at so much porn, you won't get viruses on your computer that mess it up."  I stopped watching porn after, you know, puberty died down about two years ago.  It worked fine until one day one of my friends came over and used my computer for porn.  Asshole.  Since that day, my computer does not like to cooperate with me.  I swear I'm going to kick his ass and make him give me some money to buy a new one or do whatever I have to do to fix it, because I'm getting tired of all my programs ending unexpectadly, freezing up, not being able to play games, fucking up my iPod, and all this other bullshit it does to me.

...sorry, this was your rant, wasn't it? Laughing

You should get a job.  I've had one since I was fourteen, pumping gas at a local station that still has guys to pump gas for you.  When I turned fifteen, I filled out my resume for Burger King, and lo and behold I am now a cashier.  It's not hard work, and the money's decent, better than allowance, unless your parents are rich.  I know you probably hear it all the time and don't want to hear it from me, but get a job.  Because money makes baby Jesus happy. Wink

Of course. Of GODDAMN course, all blame it on Microsoft.

People bash the hell out of their computer, and then it stops working. "Oh no, my computer isn't working, must be Microsoft's fault!" ffs.

Same goes for the porn thing. If one has that irresistible urge to look at naked women, at LEAST be careful while doing it. But no, people go onto those sites without any goddamn virus scanners, without any firewalls, without any reprogrammed worms (Jenia's idea © ), download bs on their computer, and then it starts screwing up - Of course, it's always the fault of Microsoft.

And no, Win98 sucked ass. It crashed every single time you tried to run 2 heavy-draining programs, so Microsoft saw the fault and decided to ease the pain of the people by creating a new Windows, that was actually more or less reliable. So the people, over-estimating the new system, download even more porn and even more other bullshit onto their computer, then they wonder why it isn't working. "Oh no, my computer can't handle 2354289345298 viruses, must be those idiots in Microsoft!" Grr.

Also, as a side note, I hated Battlequeen 2020. That was an action movie with more sex scenes than most porn movies out there. It was completely dumb.

I hate people.

On a positive note, DM, there were no spelling errors in your post. Hurrah!

We scan for virus all the time and we've got virus protection.

Win98 SE did not suck ass. I bet you wouldn't really know since you've only been in Canada for 6-7 years and I recall you telling me you didn't have a computer in Belarus.

I remember in the good old days, when Win98 SE was actually a good computer, I never had any problems, however now that they've got all this new shit. It fucks up all the old stuff that worked.

I think I'm mentally unstable. I can't even handle doing any work at all. If I got a job I'd likely start failing school and I'd suck at it because I've got to much work to do, and then I'd go insane. I'd start breaking windows hitting my family members and then run to the streets and start talking to my thumb.

I also hate how people can't respect people who get angry. It's a human emotion, and I think being constantly pissed off day after day gives a person a good reason to yell.

I also hate having to walk to school. My back, feet, neck, legs and ass are aching and sore all the god damn time because I have to walk to school and sit on fucking metal stools or crappy plastic chairs that they claim are worth 80 bucks each. What a load of bullshit. I'd rather sit on the floor then sit on those metal stools that I have to sit on in Biology class. They're fucking torture devises. I'm just waiting to wake up one morning and notice that I'm having trouble keeping balance, and then find a note from my spine saying

"I can't take it anymore. I'm leaving you for good!"

Sure, I'd be pissed, but it's not like I could blame it...

EDIT: Oh here's some more bullshit from Microsoft. My mom was going to buy an upgrade to WinXP today, but she chose not to because it doesn't say the requirements on the box to see if your computer is compatible. Instead what you have to do if buy the software, install it and it'll check if your computer is compatible. If it is not then you're down 130 bucks, because it's not refundable.

Now THAT is the fault of Microsoft.

BS, every single windows box I've seen had the requirements on it. Maybe your mom just didn't know where to look, or the store was crappy. Once again, not Microsoft's fault.

Win98 sucked ass. *I* did not have a computer, my uncle did. He lived in the same apartment as I, and if you recall me saying, I told you I lived with 8 other people. We had Win98 on it, and it was a torture.

98, but what about 98 SE!?

My mom looked at the ENTIRE box (which specifically said the way to check is by trying to install it) and even went to ask somebody about it. He just said "Take it home and see if it works lol."

Then my mom asked. "Can I return it if it doesn't?"

Then he said. "No n00b its software lol."

Then my mom pwnd him and went home.

They do that to make sure you aren't upgrading from a pirated windows version. Why don't they lower the fucking price? Maybe they won't get pirated so much then.

They don't lower the price because its more money in their pockets.  I mean, they know people are going to buy it, so if they don't try to get too much moola out of people they know they are going to get away with it.  This is what I think, anyway. Razz

@D. Ein - Just so you know, I said that it worked fine after I stopped looking at porn.  I can understand that it sounds like an excuse so that I don't have to place the blame on myself, but believe it or not, it was my friend that got the viruses on it, unless I downloaded some bootleg copy of a DVD or something that came with a virus strangely around that time, and seeing as I've only downloaded one DVD (cough) and that was about a week ago, I don't think that's very like.  But sure, let's bring Microsoft anyway, its their fault they don't lock up the motherfuckers that came up with the viruses. Razz

^^^That was a joke, before anyone comes in and starts bashing me. Wink

@Dudeman - I'm trying not to take sides, but every Windows box I have seen has the system requirements on the box.  However, I may be wrong.  You can probably take it back; my dad bought a game for me that I wanted to take back, so he carried it in, and when they tried to tell me that I had opened it and could not return it, he started yelling, and I got a refund. Smile  Try that. Wink

Seriously, contact Microsoft.  Go to their website and find that particular software and see if they have any information there.  If not, email them, and force those bastards to give you system requirementy goodness! Razz

And as for your walking to school problem, I do believe you said you were sixteen, right?  If so, why don't you get a car?  You can probably find one somewhere that's driveable enough to get you to school.  May not be a "cool" car that's going to get all the ladies banging on your door for a ride, but it'll keep you from walking.  And when I say this, I literally mean it; find a cheap ass car.  I've seen some in my area for $1000 or so.  Find one like that (and that's $3000 cheaper than my computer, so if you have a more modern computer, a vehicle could possibly possibly be cheaper than a new PC).

I don't know what to suggest for the whole job thing, however.  If you think it would fuck up your school work and, evidently, your life, it might be better that you don't get one, but you must to have realized by now that in another year or two (if you don't go to college) that you're going to have to get a job, anyway, because you can't bum off your parents all the time.  And, to be honest, if the way you've been acting is true, I don't think your parents would really want you to hang around.  I can understand why you act like this, because I'm literally pissed off all the time, too, but if you are going to go that path and try to bum off your mom, then you might as well be nice to her....

I suppose that's all for now. Smile

If I could afford a car (even a $1000 one) I likely wouldn't have started this topic in the first place. I am poor. My mom can barely afford to keep our car going. I can't even afford a drivers licence much less a car anyway. That's how poor I am.

I'd rather just save money. My dad sometimes gives me money when I go over to his place on Sunday. Right now, Dippy and me have about 40 bucks saved up. We'll likely spend all that on Christmas presents however.

If I am to get a job, maybe I could handle working at this one Blockbuster down the street. It's not to far to walk.

Ooops, can't end this post optimistically, um. I REALLY hate how everything doesn't always go my way all the time!

You know... even though you are poor, you are rich. You know the starving black kids in Africa? Those guys have it MUCH worse than you do, and yet somehow you don't see them complaining. Somehow they're happy. We are just a bunch of spoiled kids with too much time on our hands, while they have to fight for their life to survive. Sounds gruesome, but I'll bet you ANYTHING that it beats sitting at home playing some video game and pondering on how much of a failure at life you are. Well, at least for me.

Tool.

Ein, did I SAY that "I have the WORST life, far worse then ANYONE else." Did I say that? I read my previous posts, and I don't think I did.

Am I saying that now? No. That's not my point, my point is that I am pissed off about my computer and school problems and I am ranting about it. This topic isn't about them it's about me.

Me! Me! Me! Me!  Razz

And actually yes we do see those people complaining. Have you ever watched television? I think almost everyday I see one of those commercials about fund raising for those poor people in Africa. I would help them, but in order for me to help them, I'd have to switch places with them. Don't call me selfish, because none of you would either.

Ahai, but you must think, little grasshopper: Is it the Africans complaining, or is it the narrator complaining with superimposing images of "starving" African children? Wink

Or maybe it's...A hell enough of this.

Okay, my new complaint is about books. I'm supposed to have a book review done by tuesday. I've read enough of the book, to do it, and I'd like to finish it however, but the problem is...um...I don't wanna. But I really need to. I have such a mind block. Like I WANT to get this review done, but it's hard cuz'...well...I don't feel like working.

I'll just do it all on Monday likely.
