On the main page before you click on forums to get to Dark Age Legends, I noticed a Dark Age Legend game. Is this from the forum? Did you guys actually take the story and make a game out of it?

No, not quite yet. There are several people who wanted to make a game out of it. Oh crap! That reminds me, Dude Man, I began working on it again. Anytime you want to show me some progress on them sprites, you're welcome to e-mail them to me!

BTW, what you might have seen was Dark Age, Dark Age II, or something along those lines... unless I'm just being stupid right now, in which case, feel free to shoot me in the foot. Smile

oh, is dark age II different from dark age legends? wait. does that mean that dark age legends is the third part or something? dark age, then dark age II, then the dark age legends... how long has this been going on for?

or am i getting it totally wrong? i probably am. never mind me...

Nobody has made a game of Dark Age Legends. It's an RP. That's all, but some of us do plan on making a game of DAL, with little success as of right now.

Here's how it is.

A man named Xorlak made several games, completely unbased on anything: Dark Age I, Dark Age II, Dark Age Ex and (as far as the rumours go) (in production) THE SECRET PROJECT!!!

He then had the bright idea to make a forum RP very loosely based on the series of games that he'd made. In fact, I think the only two things that the series has in common with DAL are albatrashes and Drakens.

Hmmm, interesting.  The RP has become more popular than the games. (Heh...)

It's so secret, I'm not even working on it.  Mwa ha ha ha ha... Oh, wait.

And Gepardis and Lizard Men. Also alchemists with shotguns.

It's probably also obvious I'm using the RP as a testing ground for concepts for new races and personalties.

*Considers making the lame ability to sense other characters' presence illegal in the next chapter*

*Plots on dragging the Tjedon liberation story line on as long as possible just to make the above characters look like morons*

Mwa ha ha ha ha...

Although seriously, Drannic, how the heck does Aaron have ANY clue at all what's going to happen?  The arrival of another Dark Empire vessel would suggest he's *more* screwed, wouldn't it?

Context, people, context...

Yeah... I just thought of that right now. God, I'm dumb as hell. I hope the edit with Aaron fixes it.

ANYWAYS, Trent, freaking update your other people... say, Aura, Tsu, and Xenai? For the love of GOD!!! I've still been swearing about that, and still am!

*Still continues swearing rant just to prove the point*

Heh, no worries.  Although the edit makes more sense.  (Don't worry, crazy violent fun is coming up.)

WTF?! When were my flyboys addressed? I thought they were still contemplating on what to do next!

P.S. Very nice avvy, Xorlak.

Trent: Hmm... maybe page 402, post #8, if you bothered checking.

Xorlak: ...? Is that who I think it is?

Xorlak if you're going to remove the detecting presence thing, maybe it should be done as a side effect to some catostraphic thing that happens. Like some spell Retan does, or some spell that's done on Retan.

But maybe you could at least have it be short ranged (Like, you can sense their power level when fighting them). It's over NINE THOUSAND!

Well, I think it's too much of a drastic thing to just do without explanation, because the aura detection has been done so much and has somewhat been a key to a few storylines. Like, the no instant unbound teleportation rule worked because it was very early in the RP.

Oh yeah and Xorlak nice Dr.Robotnik/Eggman avatar, but I liked your previous one(s) better.

To be honestly honest, I liked the original (well, I don't know, the one that Xorlak had when I first joined) the most. It was the one where Xorlak himself stood holding some firelight ball in his hand.

Since I never played any of the sonic games, I have no idea who that dude is.
