Oh crap! I forgot about that! Well, if it's okay with Xorlak, then we can just leave it. I'll just change it later if it isn't. Is that okay with you, Xor?

You do have to admit, it's probably the coolest twist I've come up with yet. Just sorry I forgot to send a Pm.

Drannic, I intend to have Anti take the hit full on, and take little damage. Y'know, the DBZ thing. After all, he does wanna fight Retan, and I did power him up. I then plan for Xenai and the others with him to arrive and help Valiko fight Anti. Do you have any objections? I'm happily willing to work something out with you.

...You know? I just had an idea.

A power level chart. I know it's probably way too DBZ-esque for anyone's tastes, but it can help to identify the relative strength of all the characters, since we never have any idea whether one person is stronger than another. Retan can of course be at the top, with something ridiculous like 10,000,000, and we can place ourselves below as we see fit. Perhaps we can stick other monsters and beings in there, such as the Necrodragon, and other such monsters, to get better a sense of what the numbers mean.

Such an idea might ruin the RP, though. It was just a thought that sprung to my head, I felt like throwing it out there.

I actually love the idea, me and DM were discussing it a while ago. However, there's a few problems with that. For example, Kronos really can't deal much damage, but he's still up there with the big guys (since he's all necromancer and stuff, with a billion corpses at his command). So would he have a high power level or a low one?

Well he has high Necromancy powers; therefore he would be High Powered. Like he is able to have a giant zombie with the power of a hundred people, so in a way Kronos is that powerful.

I remember awhile ago we had the level system, but it was very general. There was level 1, which were characters that had little to no magic abilities (Like Rink and Lagart) and then there was level 2 which were characters that were sort of 'super human' but like all uber powerful (like Zion, Xenai, Valos etc.) and then their were the level 3 characters who were like all flying around shooting airship sized energy blasts from their finger tips (Zeros', Draven, Nex).

There was a level 4, for like the 'demi-god' characters, but you needed to have permission from everyone else to have a level 4 character, nobody had a character of that level (Haraldur got close). Retan probably would be around that level.

But we only had 4-5 points to spend. If we were going to bring it back I'd suggest like we could have unlimited level 1s and around 3-5 level 2s and 1 or 2 level 3s.

Oh and on a side note, I think we should remove 'God' from the Race page, as it's not actually a race. And just have it one of those pages that aren’t on any big list page (like the aura page). What do you think?

I suppose that'd be nice.

For the power chart, I also think that a system with somewhat more manageable numbers should be used. Say, Retan is at 150.
Here's a table I came up with so far:

Retan - 150
Draven - 100
Kronos - 93
Duilin - 80 (95 in super mode)
Gorus - 85 (90 in super mode)
Ein - 65
Vincent - 63 (?)

Feel free to add your own.

Drannic: I don't think "clone" is really a good word to use for a medieval(-themed) RP. Perhaps "Doppelganger" or something would be better? You know, to suggest the magical nature of the copy or something... I mean, "clone" makes me think of computers, tubes and heart monitors... Confused

Yeah, things like that its generally good to ask first... (Heh...)

Looks okay, though, since he's not as strong and doesn't really seem to have the same personality.  I would agree "Doppleganger" sounds better.

He he he, you guys are free to make "power level" charts if you want, just for fun.  Blast, the vast majority of my past DBZ-ripoff-henchmen could have had scouters.  (Heh...)  As mentioned though, we're a lot more original with our characters now and their abilities don't quite match up to a simple strength level.  So even then battles would still be up in the air.

Abodahon - 120 (Hey, even Draven ran from him!)
Nex - 98
Duilin - 80 (95 in one of his super modes)
Gorus - 85 (90 in his DEATH Wyvern form)
Valos - 75
Aegidius - 73
Ophelia - 70
Wilham - 67
Vandrin - 64
Marshall - 60
Lagart - 20 (He doesn't have any magic, but he's really big)
Rink - 20 (He's really small, but has some pretty handy magic)

Valiko is pretty evil, though. Maybe Anti will turn tail and Xenai and the others can fight Valiko instead? I'm possative that you're next in line after Draven. Heh... Power chart!? WTF!?!?!? Enough said... though truly, I'd just love updating all my characters' pages with a power level...

My guys would probably be at something like this:

Ben at 80 (95 in super form),
Jacobie at 85 (90 with enchantments),
Valimore at 80 (95 at night/vampire mode),
Valiko at 80 (100 at omg omega takes-forever-to-charge super mode(heh...)),
Justin at 75 (90 in super form),
Tiberius at 75,
Doriana at 60,
and Aaron at 60.

Let me throw mine on out there:

Zion: 90
Ultima Eternity: 102
Xenai: 92
Omega Zero: 106
Tsu: 80
Tsu (Omega Fist): 98
Aura: 78
Aura (Omega Fist): 86

And of course:

Zerobi no Anti: 110
Zerobi no Anti (Omega Fist): 135
Zerobi no Anti (True Form): ???
Drake Genais: 50
Drake Genais (+ New Weapon): ???

I like suspense. Razz

Yeah, I do like your idea, Drannic. Anti might just get impatient, say "Fuck this!" and take off after Retan. Maybe Xenai and his group can show up at that point, and Valiko can keep them from advancing further.

Hmm, I always thought of Zion, Xenai being kind of like Duilin's power level and Aura and Tsu being weaker. Then again, there have been times when Tsu and Duilin both seem to be at the same range of power.

So Xenai is a bit stronger than Zion? I normally thought of it as the other way around, but I guess it makes sense since Xenai an ex-merc and Zion is just some traveler.

But we also have to remember not to take these too seriously, or else battles will just become pretty much pre-planed and have no climatic sense to them.

Since I just joined, I don't really know what the full extent of my character's powers are just yet, but here is my idea of what I think so far. Plus, I'm not sure exactly how strong other people's characters are. I'll edit this page later if someone thinks its too high or low.

Akran's bow (normal) 15
Akran's bow fused w/ light 15 + 20= 35
Akran shielded by shadow 15 + 10 = 25
Akran's bow fused w/ light and body shielded by shadow 15 + 20 + 10 = 45

P.S. Akran just manipulates light & shadows (he can shield himself or power up himself), it's not light magic and shadow magic. Cut off his power sources and he's dead.

P.P.S. I don't know much about DBZ

I EDITED THIS PAGE. I REALIZE AKRAN CAN'T BE ANY WHERE NEAR AS POWERFUL AS KRONOS AND SOME OF THE OTHER CHARACTERS

I was wondering if I could add one more character: Kraaz, Akran's supposedly dead brother.

Name: Kraaz
Gender: Male
Race:
Specialization(s): Was Stealth & creating shadows, but now that Akran stole that from him, he doesn't have that anymore. He does have a powerful art kind of like necromancy, but he spawns demons from the ashes of victims. He uses the Majeuri Spinel.
Age: 26
Job: None
Weapon(s): above
Alliance: None
Description: for now, he looks like a ghost. Can I do that?
Bio: It seems that Akran did have something to do with his (death?), and now he is power hungry and searching for his brother.
Previous Chapter Bios: None

This is just my idea of him for now, like i did with Akran, this will probably change... but nothing very drastic.

The power level thing isn't totally serious, but it might help us on who has the more experienced characters. It's usually the people who have been around longer (or have spent more time developing their character's strength) have the stronger ones.

You can have ghosts just as long as they aren't invincible. I suppose "ghosts" could be immune to pysical attacks, but not magic (and most people use magic anyways).

well, i kind of thought that maybe until he could regain a steady form, he could be invincible, but totally weak as hell.

for example:

Kraaz (as ghost) 1
Kraaz (in a body) 20
Kraaz (in a body w/ Majeuri Spinel) 70
