Hahaha! Yes Harry potter is crap and insignificant compared to LotR.

Which Edda do you prefer? The "Elder" ("poetic") Edda or the "Younger" ("prose") Edda?

The prose one is the one by Snorri Sturlason.

Here are 2 websites:

Poetic Edda: www.sacred-texts.com/neu/pre

These are basically the Eddas online.

Oh, right...

Anyway, I want to be doing most of the gamemaking myself, to make the game truly mine...

It can be seen as a good thing... As for me... My comp propably is going to repair soon (it's still on guarance time) so I hope format won't wipe my game... it's third time I make it! With each fall it get's stronger... better... faster... harder... scooter!!! Eeh, nevermind. Smile

I run into real details now... I've made pretty funny beggar in the first town, a beggar that smiles when you throw him money! Aaah, this is so funny that it really motivates to throw him money! A smiling beggar, so rare in those modern times... (he reverts to normal after he says his thanks, through, to motivate to throw him cash again).

Are we look ing at a 5 star rating here? I think so! Seriously, if your game is as good as you are leading me to believe, it is amazing!

For a look at the screenshots for mine checkout the website. Look at the corresponding topic for more details.

Hmmm... I hate making good games... I remember times where I used default BS and default menu... You could focus on making quests and lots of dialogue using only #mwin. And now? No! You have to spend at least 5 minutes to write dialogue lines for one person, finishing 1 full board (not counting interiors of houses or other things) takes loooots of time, as I make first town (only exterior area and only the center town square) for about a week!

The worst thing is that I will have to finish the BS one day...

I believ I'll finish this game in 2077, but now I see I won't live long enough to do so

Btw what is the files' and site's size limit on freewebs? For in around 2010 I plan to put a short demo...

I do not know, as I have not reached these limits. What I do know is that the maximum image size you can have 700kb. The largest image you can have has to be 699kb.

Damn, if I'll ever finish this game I'm gonna send it for free to folks on CD Very Happy But don't expect it to have professionaly done cover like this of Dark Age (the CD, not the game).

I just hope there will be enough place for just a damn demo.

That was just the image uploading, I have no idea what the limit for downloads is. Try looking through the help files on freewebs.

Well, you could look at the help files your host has, if the host has help files.

Hmmm, if you use HTML, just put link into a file instead of a site, using

Click to download

etc...
