I cannot draw, and even I do my own tilesets, in the TK, not using paint or photoshop or anything, it is not that hard...

More devolpments! New updates!

1. You will be able to hold over 16 items at once. (6 will be basic equipment and the other 10 will let you hold weapons, armor, accessories, and special items that give you commands on your stamina menu)

2. Item vendors will be on every board in the game (unless your in a building where there are enemies i.e. like a dungeon).

3. You will be able to buy droids/robots to add to your party, there will be over 10-20 party members in the first demo (there is a party switching system so  Laughing )

4. You will get to chose from a male or female character.

Cool. I love this idea.

Hmm, for comparision my game only allows 4 equpable items and 5 non-equipable, not counting stuff like potions and sacred texts, which propably won't even display.

I get that they items are in-game created, but are they global (each sword of the same type is the same) or in-game customizable, for example you can add attributes to the sword when within game?

Vendors on each board? You mean in each city or what? Or are you going into a someone's house and yippie, here comes the vendor?

Droids? Cool. Only fightning droids, or are there medical droids, for example?

Medical droids would be really cool, and more realistic, well as realistic as sci-fi can be.

Yeah. Of course I won't rest like that and make some references to best world sci-fi conception in game I've ever seen... FALLOUT.

There, you see all the eastern mentality. Japanese with their manga-sayan-hasu-gosu culture have landed wiuth their submarine upon shores of desolated San Francisco after the nuclear war and populated the city. They began training martial arts and woirshipping their divine Emperor. When you got worthy enough, you could actually visit their "Emperor". It was... a computer. Hehehe, you could even kill (format) him and then all the folks in city hated you Wink

No, really, this game was really real, but it was based on conception of future seen in 50' years. So, now cellular phones, no nuclear winter, etc. But several conceptions were brilliant, like using virus to mutate living organisms and the perfect storyline... "War... war never changes." It is only game known to me where the "all mighty America" is not a perfect country defending the world. It is a flawed, mad country, which started the great war and ended up escaping to an oil rig, the "Enclave", from which the president orders his special forces to gather best scientists from the continent and exterminate the population, infected with deadly virus...

I know many hate this game, because it's, well, simply brutal. It contains almost all "adult only" elements (especially fallout 2), but it just makes it more real.

Fallout was, as far as I know, first game in which you could kill a child, for this deed you were hated and rewarded with specific reputation - "karma" - child killer... Still, it was the first game in which you could do this.

This game really had a variety of things to do, it is also a first game I know in which you can play as grave-robbing, drug-addicted homosexual stealth assasin which is master of skinning lizards...

Also, in this game, the skill/stat system rocks, and I sort of based on it in my game. I know no better system like that (it was also used in Lionheart, but in this edition I've heard it sucked).

Hmmm, it thought this game to be legendary... Same as for starcraft and final fantasy series... Hmm, what games did you actually PLAY and liked it? (beside Dark Age 2)

Okay, forget my another question like this on other topic.  Laughing

GTA series are fine, but I can't say they are best. Civilizations (only played original 2 and 3) rule, test of time seems stupid to me as it involves sci-fi fantasy, and for such a game it sucks. I also hate that there are huge imbalances in each game. In CV2, you can't build "nothing" - you are forced to build something until you discover capitalisation. In CV3, "strategic resources" have random chance of dissappearing which totally SUCKS, you have uranium - bam! you don't have uranium! all of sudden.

Also, they removed best government - fundamentalism (propably because of terrorism, it was religious rule based on propaganda, military and terror). Also, in CV3, whatever government you try to play, you eventually end up with democracy. Why? Because communism produces, let's say, 1000 gold per day. Cool, you say. Then you try democracy and see it produces 5000 gold per day, workers work at double rate and corruption is minimized. This is MAD! Good thing you can change that on your own maps with map editor.

Gangsters? Never seen it.

Hehe. Gangsters is quite an old game, and Gangsters 2 was 2000 or 2001...

Im going to add a karma system in it. Everything you do affects how people will act to you (this will take alot of programming) and there will be all types of droids, medical, combat, support, ect. Some droids will have better skills at other things. There will also be non-based combat skills, such as, lockpick, computer slicing (hacking), repair, computer use, first-aid and if I can do it right you will be able to distribute these skills through hard disks (you have an implant in your arm where you can learn skills though) and that is also how you will level up, the more disks you buy, the more experience you will get towards a level up.

Droids will be leveled up differently but somewhat the same, computer chips will upgrade there skills and stats, they will also have special items that allow them to use skills, such as, stun, disease (posion), flamethrower, ect.

This game will be very, very involved. And yes there will be vendors on every board (if you live in LA you know what im talking about haha, basically like drug dealers) some will have different things, which means alot of time will be spent walking, and since theres NO world map you have to keep track of where you are (no im not that mean...there will be signs to tell where you are).

Ill get more things up when I get time to write, im sick right know and i feel like shit.. Sad

Absolutely cool, dude. I await in amazement.

The inserting of disks into your arms is the only stupid idea I see here Smile Hehehe. I prefer system where you read books / have to read disks in computers / etc. All this cyrborg stuff sounds weird to me... Through it is said first "cyborg" conception came from leonardo DaVinci, and most of his conceptions came true...

I also wanted some karma system in my game... But I plan each basic character to have 3-5 quotes to say, at least... Add the "speech" system and you get 1-3 bonus quotes... And most characters talk hell more than it. So karma system will cause more and more dialogue stuff which I don't like at all.

There will be something replacing it... For example, church members will generally hate gnostics, jews/templars will hate arabs, necromancers - paladins, etc... Also, if you'll win war supporting the paladins, necromancers will hate you anyway.
