Xorlak, could you have a look at my site and tell me what you think about my game ideas? Thankyou. The site is:

You cannot wait? Oops. How long would be the maximum you could wait?

Hmm... I'm really not into depressing nuclear holocaust stories.  But, I never played an RPG with that theme.  Could be interesting, especially the second one.  Keep it up!

Hmm, I also hated such stories until I've seen FALLOUT with my own eyes... Through, I hardly believe nuclear weapons would be used that easily as in those nuclear war stories...

Hmmm, you believe nuclear power is everything humanity can discover? Well, I hope you're right, but knowing people after 50-100 years we'll get weapon compared to which nuclear power is nothing.

For a stupid (a bit) comparision, nuclear reactions are used within stars to produce energy and light. Right. And stars produce chains of thermonuclear blasts in each second, on scales no one would ever reach, and we fear the power of a single such explosion on Earth. And the stars are just mere, basic objects of the Universe. Imagine what reactions can take place within quasars, black holes, neutron stars, magnatars and the rest of the unknown Abyss that surrounds us... And let us hope humanity would never produce effects like these.

(it is also not really possible because most of the astronomical powerful reactions are between extreme forces of extreme gravity and using extreme energy, on earth it wouldn't be possible to produce same effects).

I thought I should have it as not too sci-fi, especially the second one. Anyway, in the first one there was supposed to be about 40 years of peace, so demand for a super weapon would have been low for a long time.

Hmm, not too sci-fi? What do you mean? Will there be teleports?  Wink  Hehehe, here are several conceptions I made for "song of Azrael" story I once wrote... It's chapters were placed between 1072-1100 (around), and here are the inventions...

1. Electromagnetic bullet stimulation system. AKA "gauss" rifles. Acceleration of magnetic shells using electric field through the spiraled fusion to achieve sub-light speeds.

[discovered by Germany]

2. Chronodynamic ("nexus") engine. Uses same technology as quasars use to produce light, using the powerful twist of time field around the engine. Produces pure light energy in amounts extreme, enough to power up things with it's kinetic force. The stories involved a strange accident, a small quasar entering Earth's vicinity, which was blown away using thermonuclear bombs and it's shatters were used for inventions like this (also, the huge nexus reactor)... The quasar also is the main concern of the stories, as it seems to be more than a star - it's rather, a god which can think and plan on it's own...

[discovered by Germany]

3. Radial transportation of electricity. With strong accoustic field light beams can be slowed down and gain more mass, which causes them to produce stronger magnetic effects, which can be used to generate and transport electric information at distances. Used mostly in "phebus" orbital solar plants.

[discovered by Brasil]

4. Magnetising of every substance. Our past has passed through "steam era", "gas era", "electric era" and is currently in "radial era", future in my stories is divided into "magnetic era", "biological era" and "nexus era". Magnesing brings stuff like oxymagnetics (read #6).

[discovered by Canada]

5. Another thing connected with quasar, infusion. By using quasar's powerful field which merges matter and energy, chemical substances can be merged in otherwise impossible ways, for example forcing helium or argonium to join oxygen.

[discovered by New India]

6. Upgraded zeppelin technology, which uses magnetised non-infusioned helium sped up with magnetic field like with "gauss" technology, allowing lifting of extremely massive objects. Mainly used in french "air fortresses", which are huge zeppelin carriers, from which smaller planes are launched. Also used as a backup for planes (ability to prevent falling).

[discovered by France]

7. Biothermal technology. Using geneticaly altered bacterias to generate heat enough to accelerate steam turbines in power plants.

[discovered by United Korea]

8. Nucleomagnetic and nucleaoplasmatic technology. Using magnetic fields to keep nuclear and thermonuclear explosions in one place rather than spreading. Used in precisive nuclear bombs.

[discovered by USA]

9. Mech-like technology. Think pneumaticaly moved metal-techs or how these are called. Due to mobility problems, mechs can't move and shoot all around like in Matrix Revolution... They are rather moving fortresses, which can be deployed as stationary turrets operated by soldiers, and moved when necessary.

[discovered by Hungary]

10. Thermal town heating. Expensive stuff which heats whole city in times of winter and blizzard, connected with underground cannal system which gathers all the melted snow water.

[discovered by Great Brittain]

The fact who discovered is quite important due to future concept, where nationalism turned back against the overall globalism we see now.

(whoa, my posts are longer and longer)

Cool. Most sci-fis are not very detailed in the respect of who made the inventions. THis is rare and good Cesque.

You could PM Haraldur with that tip, MotD. In fact, you could PM a modernator or admin in case you wanted to ban me or Haraldur instead of posting a stupid poll topic, which just added to your post count.

Don't say I'm wrong, and don't say I should PM you with that, as I said already, forums are for open discussions, Haraldur is right.
