Hmmm, my game is all right. Except the fact it's bugged as hell. And the BS is a bit hard to convert into #whiles and #methods from #branches without having loads of bugs. Battle seems all right, actually, thanks to Xorlak, except player get's so involved in it that he can't quit, and when enemies are defeated, character is so sad all the fun is gone that he stands staticaly in place.
I just start to see what fun is to compose non-programic part of game, like boards and (it's somehow programic) dialogues, and story, and the environment. It's even fun for me to think names for each single character (I called the Rat God after the pharaoh, Echnaton, hehe)...
But, one more problem remains... GAME'S NAME! If anyone has an idea how to call (not after character, not after evil guy, not after mythical weapon or anything of this, something about event, situation or occurance) a game, where two fractions fight each other, no one can really tell which is good, plus they get attack by the real evil, the demons, but after all the definition of demon is not what it seems, and in the end no one get's what's going on, the player screams "WHAT THE HELL?!" and get's insane from the mad story, finally get's put into insane asylum and even there, after heavy psychotropes, can't think out why the paladins are bad and gnostics are not, or maybe it's vice versa, or maybe they both are bad, or good, or there is no evil, or maybe it's all matrix and we don't exist... So, if anyone has idea for a name to such game, TELL ME! Very Happy
Also, I'm working on the class system, and it's going further and further into dialogues. For example, taking example of Diablo, after defeating each boss, character says a quote depending on his class. Paladin will, for example, curse the Rat God in the name of light, necromancer will pity him, as he was unpreppared for death, druid will throw quote about nature's balance and sorceress about harmony of Cosmos... Through still, in closest demo, there propably will only be 1 class, the paladin.
