You notice that all of us here, and so all the people here against abortion, seem to be male, when it really is the choice of the women. Who are we to stop them? They have to suffer everything to do with child-birth, and probably will end up having to bring up the child.

true, but still....killing the child because of this "accident"? they had the choice to get screwed, and they had the ability to take pills or patches or whatever....they had a chance, but no! we're all too lazy to take damn pill every morning!  so we now want to resort to killing "it"!

Those are both very good points. So my conclution is to try and build.....A TIME MACHINE so instead of abortions they go back in time and make a better choice! Think how much easier life would be!

Okay. So who's gonna go and ask Sophia about the topic? Hey! Don't look at me like that! I'm not going!!!  Surprised

You see, the reproductivity was since ancient - no, since prehistoric times - holy. Sacred. Divine. A gift of life. Every single religion had a goddess of fertility (or whatever it is called). Judaism was a pro-creative religion, too (being unable to have a child was consider being cursed by the God, having much offsrping was considered blessing). The whole case about worshipping procreation dates back to about 30 thousands years ago.

The first sculptures in stone were representing woman, with body parts having something to do with fertility - like breasts - enlarged, and stuff like hands, head only symbolical (it was ironicaly called 'venus' type by archeologists)

And abortion is the sin against the Great Goddess and the Great (AKA natural) Religion.

First words God spoke upon animals after creating them, with which it blessed them? "Reproduce and multiply...".

But who cares about some natural order in modern times, where people grow in such number they deserve culling?

EDIT: You guys post FAST! 2 reponses before I put up mine.

This way someone could go in the past and kill his own mother not to be born.

That's what people resort to, while I try to be as constructive as possible.  Laughing

You see, I even wanted to put that as a theme in the end of game Satarel Legacy. A jew Izaak constructs a jewel allowing him time travel using the Primal Clay, teleports himself a few seconds before, grabs the Izaak which not yet used this power, then begins to teleport like this infinitely, getting his clones*, creating an army of jews all called Izaak, sends them all in time to study all possible knowledge of all times, then with his army he alters events of time and creates a world where he is worshipped like a god.

The idea went down the drain, along with idea of Cabal who constructed machine to destroy the whole universe using the reverse process of the one Gods used to make it, sending the anti-creational rays from a giant telescope-like pinnacle of his observatory.

* it is possible. Ever played Chrono Trigger? If you leave Robo in time, then return to future and get him to join you, then return to past there are 2 Robos, 1 you left in past and 1 you took from there. It can work like this into infinity.

So? Time travel is against law of matter order. By doing this you would reproduce matter from nothing. So, bah! It's senseless. It would destroy the universe.
