I had this exact same thing happen to me. Only the crush wasn't 3 years long, just about 6 months, as I had just met her that year. I told a friend of mine, and the friend told the girls friends. I got laughed at.

Heh, 3 years. Same thing happened to me with this girl, Erin. Blonde, very cute, and from what I hear, a really nice girl (hey, I never did take the time to get to know her, so heh). It got around that I liked her, so I started going the back way to all of my classes to try to avoid anyone I knew. Didn't help in the classes that she and I shared, tho...esp when I had to work with her in Physical Science. I'm just glad that she chose to stay on topic.

Erin.....Pastore?! Holy Shit!! I used to know her...though I doubt that's who you're talking about.....yeah......I liked her too....but she was a Bitch to me...
