Dark Age Legends

As Haraldur ranted on, Armic jammed his left hand into his robe and began charging dark energy into it. It was not visible, as the energy itself was black, and Armic was taking care not to let it be seen.

He muttered incantations over and over in his head, and it began to burn in the back of his skull, as his entire arm began to pulse with energy.

"Duilin?!" Nevina shouted in relief.
"Finally, someone familiar who doesn't blow up!" Nevina said, rather offbeat from the conversation.

[Dude Man]

"Okay, listen. There's this huge ship in the sky, it has somebody who I belive served the Dark Empire. He's looking for the 6 weapons, and I have one." Duilin says, he shows her the mace "Zeros' still has the sword, Haraldur and a new friend here have, one." He points to Ryu "Nevina, this is my Kami-Ryu, Zeros' aprentice. Kami-Ryu, this is Nevina, a friend of mine that I met on the Romme Island. Okay, now Nevina, we might be needing your help."

//I'm glad you're content with the limits, Xorlak-sama.

The Zero Weapon's armor shattered, due to the intense assault made by Zeros'. Tsu flew around, catching as many pieces as he could, knowing that they would help repair it. "Yeah, it's working!" Xenai was very impressed by Zeros' strength. The Zero Weapon's vitality now started to fade. Xenai cut off the flow of heat. "Zion, attack!"

Ultima Eternity flew forward, pulling its sword back in Hirazuki posture. The Eternity Weapon alone was 3/4 as strong as the Zero Weapon. With Zion merged, Ultima Eternity's strength was equal to the Zero Weapon's. Ultima Eternity thrusted its sword at the Zero Weapon's core...

[Zeros']

The winds died down to a gentle breeze as Zeros' retracted his fist and gentle flew back and crossed his arms over his chest. The caught his hair as it gentle shuffled in the wind. His trench coat remained in a still position as he watched.

Ryu bowed to Nevina.

"Hello Lady Nevina. It is a pleasure to meet you." Ryu raised from his bow and put his hands behind his back. "Zeros'-sama mentioned something about a 'Zero Weapon' that's coming towards Lars." Ryu commented nonchalantly.

[Xorlak]

Lars raised his hand, signaling Frost and Bite in the ship to hold their fire.  

... Just who is this guy anyway...?

Lars' path curved as he floated, so that he was now approaching the opposite side of Haraldur.  In a minute Haraldur would be directly between Lars and Armic.

"Hmmm, interesting...  Yes, I do believe that is a new one.  Well then, if you are after destroying the weapons, then you have no business with me, as you should clearly be able to tell that I have none..."

A smirk became visible behind his shroud.

"However, I can't help but get the feeling that you are going to get in my way..."

[Haraldur]

"And you in mine, I do not doubt. I will not allow anyone to keep the weapons in existance, and I suspect that is your wish: to leach off me, as Retan tried before.

"If, however, you have no interest in the weapons, and no interest in my companions as yet, then I can happily bid you farewell, and fair weather.

"What is your stance on the weapons?"

Haraldur edged so that both Armic, Lars and the ship would remain in his field of view.

[Kahn]

Kahn walked towards Ellenna and saw Nevina with others in the distance.
"She's none of my concern."
He stood over Ellenna.
"Hmm unconscious. Well you still owe me a job, but I'm afraid that if the Jin Elf isn't going for help, then I may have to leave you here.

Armic, still charging his pssible attack, began to smile, but it was a painful smile, as his mind began to burn. But, he tried to speak. "Well... Why are yo-ou still here then...?" Armic said, trying to hide his pain.

"Uhmm... weapons, flying ships, I'm not really getting it here. Maybe you could explain on the way." Nevina said. As she finished speaking, she bowed in return to Ryu's bow. As she came back up, she lifted her body of the ground and began to float, ready to fly.

[Dude Man]

"Hmm, odd, I don't recall you being able to fly. Anyways, Nevina. Possibly an old member of the Dark Empire, is flying around in an advanced prototype of Retan's ship. Haraldur has confronted them, and Zeros' I belive is battleing this, Zero weapon, I don't know much about it at all. So shall we go?" Duilin asked, as he flaped his wings and began to float in the air.

[Zeros']

Ryu frowned for a moment and glanced between Duilin and Nevina. He could indeed make wings out of his ki, but it took so much he was usually readily exhausted from the expendxure.

"Yes we shall." Ryu said while following Duilin on the ground.

[Xorlak]

"Heh..."

A faint crimson aura surrounded the shrouded man...

"As far as the weapons go, I intend to let sleeping dogs lie...  I would suggest you and your 'companions' do the same...

"It's a shame though.  I'm afraid I cannot allow your 'companions' to live for other reasons...  If you insist on defending them, then you'll simply have to be removed.  It's especially convenient since you've taken the trouble to come down here all by yourself.  Nothing personal."

Lars extended his right arm, a bright crimson orb appearing before it.

"Also, I've heard so much about Ragnar, the traitor of traitors...  The uncontrollable enigma that was once not a bad general.   I'm simply dying to see what you're made of..."

The first orb fired like a cannon, straight at Haraldur, the recoil of heated air blasting in all directions.  Lars continued with a continuous stream of explosive fireballs, rocketing one off twice a second...

[Haraldur]

Haraldur saw this, and acted a split second before the first could hit.

He split into 4, the two Haraldurs, Ragnar, and the staff, which warped into the shape similar to Ragnar.

The fireballs went through the middle of them. Then they reformed, leaving Ragnar as the outside image.

"Oh, indeed..."

Haraldur fired a grey orb at the ship, which hit, releasing a cloud of knockout gas.

He then formed a shield around himself, which would survive a few hits before being destroyed.

"Spoiling the fun already? I wanted to explain my feud with the Dark Empire, if you would be so kind..."

//Treat the shield as an NPC, which can withstand around 10 (give or take) average hits, and fewer powerful hits.//

[Trent]

The Zero Weapon fell backwards, into the ocean as Ultima Eternity pulled its sword out. "It's ugly with its armor off, ya know..."

Tsu floated over to the tiny island, putting down the last piece of armor.

Xenai grabbed all the armor and went underwater, commencing to repair and re-program the Zero Weapon.

"Now that's done for. We have 2 great powers on our side... So long as the Zero Weapon is reprogrammed right. We'll be glad to join you in destroying the weapons."

Duilin looked down at Ryu. "Kami-Ryu, if you wish to come with us to the ship, I'll carry you, but if you wish to help out Zeros', I'm afraid you'll have to walk, the choice is yours."

"Frost, looks like Lars, is fighting that dude, who...just....multiplied..." Bite called "Should  I fire at him?"

"I dunno, wait for the...wait, what the hell is this stuff?" Frost replied

"Uhhh....I don't kno..." Bite then passed out, followed by his brother...The knockout gas got to them...

[Xorlak]

Lars began a dash at Haraldur, moving faster and faster as he neared the man.  It was not a straight line, but rather more sporadic, as Lars' image blurred as he approached, appearing to the left and right at irregular intervals.

"Surely a man of your caliber can speak his life story while parrying attacks from a simple mage as myself..."

He shouted the words as he fired three low energy fireballs in succession at the barrier, which because of his movement, came from three different directions.
