Dark Age Legends

[Trent]

Xenai looked at Tsu. "Looks like you're hung, kid. You're not achieving zanzoken any time soon. Take care, buddy."

Tsu was slightly relieved, yet sad that he could not help his friends. "I'll hold the fort here."

Zion concentrated in the direction of the Dark Palace. "No, you're coming with us. You're needed for Seijin's special attack. Stand back."

Tsu floated a good distance backwards, away from Zion and Xenai. Zion and Xenai assumed firm stances, focusing on their ki, and letting out thunderous yells. Their auras clashed with one another, and then Zion and Xenai started to grow... wings. Angel wings, they were translucent, and seemed not to be attached to their backs. Zion's were white, while Xenai's were black. They'd taken the seal off their power.

Zion and Xenai looked at Tsu with narrowed eyes, pointing their hands at them. "Pick a color," said Zion.

Tsu's eyes were widened. "Uh... Blue."

Wham! A massive amount of energy slammed into him, and just like that, there were the same type of wings on his back, they were blue. "You don't have much power," said Xenai, "But those babies will make sure you fight with all of it. They also enable ki-challenged people like you to use Satsu-ki (Explosive ki, or literally, 'Death ki')." Zion and Xenai grabbed onto Tsu, and took off toward the Dark Palace at a blinding speed.

[Dude Man]

Maxwell then spots Haraldur, Zeros' and Duilin.

"Hmm, those must be them." Maxwell says. "I'll be sure that they die!"

He then dashes toward a canon, near by. He grabs a cannon ball and then loads it in. He grabs a torch on the wall and then lights the cannonm it then fires, just missing the group.

"Hmm...Haraldur. I'm not sure what one that is. But let me think on this, two of them look like demons, and Haraldur I do not belive is a deamon. So I supose that's him! And one of those two must be, this, Duilin character..."

A group of Wyvern flew over to the area

//I was wondering, can Wyvern's shoot fire?//

"Attack the demons!" Maxwell yelled.

The wyverns riders, then shot arrows down at Duilin and Zeros'.

Duilin dived out of the way. But a few got him in the back.

"Owch! What ever happened to saying hello?" Duilin groaned

Rink then flue out of Duilin hands and then started blasting fireballs at the arrows flieing at him.

"Zeros' there attacking us. Should we run for it?" Duilin asks

"You know, I could go for that, right about now!" Rink cries

"Accually ditch that, idea! Looks like there not letting us out!" A group, of 15 soilders ran the group, 5 ran at Duilin. Duilin thrusted his hand out and blasted a fire ball at one of them, killing him instantly. Rink dived at one soilder and started clawing at his face, the soilder droped his weapon and started running off. The remaining three ran at Duilin...

[Zeros']

Zeros' hands blurred as the three heading towards Duilin fell limp to the ground, decapitated.

Yes...after we have all the weapons though, can you summon Ryu here after we secure all of them? He has he spear still, hidden away in his cloak, but I can reach it.

Zeros' glared defiently at the ground ahead of him.

"No Duilin. We stay and fight." Zeros' held up his left hand, the one not currently occupied. His hand started crackling with brown and green energy. He grinned at the soldiers.

"DUG HAUT!" Zeros' raised his arm more as the energy crackling across his palm increased. He slammed it down faster then ever, the breaking of several sound barriers popping through the air as a 30 foot crater appeared below where Zeros' palm slammed, knocking all the soldeirs around him off their feet.

Before anyone had time to react, tendrils of grown and green slivered across the ground, crackling with intense magic energy. Soldiers cried out in pain as spikes made of earth impaled those all around Zeros', Duilin and Rink, killing them instantly as blood poured down their chests - where the spikes punctured their hearts - and heads as their brains exploded from sheer pressure, littering the ground crimson.

"Duilin! Attack the castle directly!" Zeros' used his sword to deflect stray arrows that reached his position while screams of anguish pierce the battle ground. "I'll deal with this!" Zeros' charged his ki. Even ones without training in anythng could feel the death, grief, pain, anguish, rage and anger surrounding his wings. He jumped into the air and flaped all eight of his wings as they sent a super sonic blast through the feild.

Soldiers were knocked off their feet and arrows were crushed by the pressure as Zeros' rose into the air and spotted Haraldur and Draven in the distance. He headed into that direction, which also placed him near the castle, indirectly.

Zeros' stopped near Draven and Haraldur and grinned at hm, mockingly.

"We meet again." He replied cooly.

Haraldur do you sense Qor? He sent the thought to Haraldur as he extended his sense. He sensed Armic towards the castle. He glanced in that direction and saw Maxwell as he ordered around the units.

[Kahn]

Kahn left the temple right behind Ellenna.

"So where are we off to now?"

[Haraldur]

Haraldur told Zeros': If we do not force the axe from Draven's possession into ours, then we shall return to Laus to pick up Ryu. We will then find the last weapon, hopefully with information from here about its whereabouts. Then we shall enter another confrontation with Draven, and because he will be close, it will be posible to destroy the weapons. If we do get the axe from Draven, then we find the last one anyway, and destroy them at that weapon's shrine.

Yes, I sense Qor, the stunted runt that he is. He may cause us problems, so we should get this over with as soon as possible.

Ellenna said "We go north. I feel something drawing me there."

[Dude Man]

"You got it cheif!" Duilin replies to Zeros' as he blasts off. "Okay, Rink. Could your old partner do this?" He raises his hands in the air. His eyes start glowing yellow. He begins to aborb heat heat from all around him, and creates a fire ball about 7 feet in diameter. He tosses the fireball at one of the castle walls. A huge explotion had part of the castle parially knocked down.

"Yeah, I think I saw him do that once or twice. Uh oh. More Dark Soilders!" Rink says

The soilders run there way threw, avioding the spikey things that Zeros' made.

As one ran at him, he jumped into the air about 10 feet with aid of his wings. The soilder slid on the ground, and was about close to a meter away from Duilin's former postion, so that as Duilin lands the soilder is behind, him. Instantly another run, with his sword pointed at him, so Duilin jumps again and the Dark Warrior kills the other one instead. Duilin then picks up the soilder and then casts fire wile holding him, turning him into a firey heap. He then tosses the soilder at a few others, and then grabs one of spikes and breaks and then tosses it at another soilder, going right threw his torso.

"The others better hurry up. I can't fight these guys all by myself. Rink, I don't supose you can do anything?" Duilin says as he fights off more soilders with his mace. An armored hourse pulled carts, with a cannon started there way to Duilin's location (I guess we can call them Cart Tanks).

"Yeah, I think so.." Rink relpies. He then flies over to the Cart Tank. And then jumps on the hourses back, and then quiclky burns off the straps and the chains, that held the hourse, and smacks the hourses back, Getting it to run off. He quickly flies off the hourse and then crawls into the Tank.

"What the hell is that thing?" The Tank driver cries. Rink then blasts a fire ball at the mans eyes, and then jumps at his face. He claws at his head, killing the creap. The gunner then freaks out and jumps out of the Cart and runs. Rink, then reals the cannon at the Wyvern's and shoots one down.

The hourse then runs at Duilin's position. "Whoa there!" Duilin says. The hourse stops and looks at Duilin. Duilin rubs his chin...

"Rats! Two of them are close!" Maxwell groans, he points to a group of 10 soilders "You! Get  the new weapons and then go after the eight winged freak! Leave the other one."

"Sir, yes, sir!" The soilders reply. Then then open this large door. The soilders put on extremly thick steal armor. They arm themselfs with Caliberate Shotguns, with plently off ammo. Then the 10 shock troops ran as fast as they could to Zeros'.
They arived quickly to his position, seeing as they were not to far away. They then began fireing at Zeros'. Shotgun shells rapidly flue threw the air, flying at Zeros'.

//10 Shock Troops. There armor is really powerfull. So they won't die easly at all.//

(This is great stuff.  Heh...)

Draven gave Zeros' a raised eyebrow.

"Is it just me, or do you get more freaky every time we meet?  I mean 8 of them now... you're going to have trouble entering doors before long."

Draven rose higher and higher.  He was positioned high above the dark fortress.  One of the tallest towers was at his back.  He strapped the large axe to his belt on the left side, speaking to Haraldur:

"Look what I found in my basement!  I know better than to try to use this on you.  Still, you'll find any attempts to call it to you quite futile, as it will remain deaf to your calls as long as it is in my possession."

He clenched his fists and brought both arms to his side.  To anyone near Draven, the intense clamor of battle below seemed to muffle out completely...  The ambience seemed to darken, becoming more of a pale red...  the only audible noise was a soft wind that blew gently upwards over Draven's body, making his long hair slowly wave upwards and his cape extend outward.  His face was calmly focused and his reverbed voice pierced to the soul:

"Shall we begin?"

The man immediately exploded in flame with an intensity never seen before.  A surging sphere of flame blasted outwards in all directions.  The upper reaches of the tower behind him literally disintegrated, the very bricks crumbling into dust...  When it was over, a dark figure in the center of a massive crimson fireball painted the sky an eerie red...

Draven's features were not easily distingushed wrapped in the intense crimson aura, but his eyes shone though, two white triangular slits much more intense than the flame itself...

[Trent]

Zion, Xenai, and Tsu arrived at the Dark Palace. Tsu was released, and Zion and Xenai connected their wrists, standing back to back. Tsu floated behind them as they pointed their palms at a clump of soldiers, a safe distance away from Rink and Duilin.

"Satsujin-ha!!!"

Blue waves of energy erupted from their hands, and slammed into the clump of soldiers, obliterating them.

Tsu, with a newfound courage, swooped down near Rink and Duilin, landed, and started to hack away at the soldiers.

[Zeros']

"Ha ha." Zeros' deadpanned. Zeros' used his speed to dodge above the shotgun bullets. He pointed one finger towards them, his eyes never leaving Draven, and charged it with ki. Ki started to crackle around his finger as he sent a message towards Haraldur:

Do you want help with Draven? If so, I'll stay. If not, I'll go after Qor. He released ten ki bolts in the direction of the Shock tropers. The shok tropers were not killed, but the ki bolts knocked them back several feet, also making dents in their armor as they hit a wall and slumped down, dizzy.

[Dude Man]

"Glad you boy's chose to stop by!" Duilin says to Tsu. He then hoped onto the hourse. "Tsu, I want you and the others, to fight off the soilders. I'm gonna blow this god forsaken palace to dust. I won't go far!"

Duilin used to ride hourses back when he was with the Empire, so he knew a bit. He rod the hourse, closer into the castle area. He swung his mace in circlular motion. And then casted fire into the hand he was holding the mace in.
"Something tells me, this will work!" He then swung the mace at one of the towers of the castle, it created a large firey disc. The mace seemed to have a strange power. The disc made the entire tower fall down, crushing several soilders. "Huh!? How do like that, pukas!?" Duilin yelled

After Rink nearly cleared the sky of the wyverin riders, the cannon ran out of ammo.

"Damnit!" Rink yelled. He then flied out of the tank. He then looked around, abit. And noticed that several more headed the way. "Ah, crap! Duilin! Get back here!"
He looked toward Tsu "Hey dude! You think can handle some Cart Tanks, I'm not exataclty the right size to be fighting about umm...5 of them!"

Duilin then ran his way back closer to were the others were, swinging his mace, at soilders that attacked him.

"That's it. Those punks have gone to far! There weaking this castle to shreads! I'm going in!" Maxwell says. He straps on a chain of bolts, around him. And then runs out into the battle feild. "I can't belive one guy can do so much. It appears that there are three more! This has got to end!"

He hops into a hourse pulled cart, along with another soilder, to stear the hourse. He fires several bolts at Zion and Xenai.

The shock troops slowy make there way back up. "Resume fire!" One shouts. And they continue to fire there shotguns at Zeros'.

Armic smiled Grimly at what Draven had said, but was a bit dissapointed that he had to sit and wait in the the little room until the enemy poured in. He decided he'd wreak a bit of Havoc above ground while still below it.

He removed 2 of his silvery hairs and put one in each hand. He chanted an incantation in a language older than time itself. Only Qor and the most ancient of deamons were even aware of the tongues existance. as he chanted, louder with each repeat of the phrase, the silvery hairs in his hands began to glow red. Once they were burning in his hand, hot enough to sear metal, he broke his chant and shouted out in plain English, "Constructs of Dreams, Golems of Death itself, I command you, lend me thy power!"

As he finished his sentence, the hairs dissapeared from his hands, but something much, much bigger appeared above ground...

There, next to the Castle Gates, 2 Huge Demonflesh Golems appeared on either side of the door. Nearly 40 feet each, bleeding red blood to the ground with each movement of their exposed muscles. Almost completely red, they were fearsome looking beasts. Huge wings on their backs, and a deamon skull for a head. One look at them could make the queemish go into acoma.

Armic laughed as he controlled the beasts with his hands, like puppets.

Nevina finally arrived on the scene, cursing Haraldur for going so fast.

Nevina drew her Holy Bastard sword and leaped into the frey. Cracking the skull of one soldier with the flat side of her blade, she then blasted a holy ball into a group of 5 soldiers, who blew up instantly from the hit. Their weapons flew out from the blast and one of the longswords impaled another soldier through the skull.

[Kahn]

Kahn looked towards the north.

"Well let's not waste any more time."

[Trent]

Zion and Xenai swatted the bolts away. Zion looked down to Tsu. "It's time!" he yelled.

Xenai looked at Zion, wide-eyed. "You're serious? On just this little bit of trouble?"

"We need to warm up to it."

"Alright, I suppose." Xenai looked down to Tsu. "Start charging energy! Prepare to accept a whole shitload of some too!"

Zion forced all of the energy out of Eternity Weapon, and Xenai forced all the energy out of Zero Weapon. They were glowing white and black, respectively, and with huge auras of the same color.

Tsu charged up as much energy as he could. For some reason, the intent of the trio caused Tsu to develop a large aura of... just heat waves.

Neither weapon will resume charging until New Forever has been executed.

[Zeros']

Zeros' glanced over his shoulder towards Tsu, Zion and Xenai and smiled at them. He mouthed "Thanks guys." to them. He then disapeared and reppeared near the double doors leading into the castle. He leaned forwards and eased the doors away and started strolling down the path towards where Armic was controlling the demons.

[Haraldur]

Haraldur's aura flamed up, diverting the flames of Draven, causing a quite interesting paisley pattern to appear in the air for a few seconds.

Haraldur told Zeros' I suggest you get Qor, I can easily face Draven with few ill effects, and even if I do, he cannot kill me.

Haraldur slowly moved towards Draven, at the same time propelling two balls of ice towards him at great speed.

Pointing towards the two flesh golems, Haraldur shouted to Duilin "Deal with the new arrivals!"

Ellenna picks Kahn up, and hovered 15 cm above the ground. She then flys/hovers northward at 30 metres per second.
