Dark Age Legends

[Zeros']

Ryu sighed.

"I have no idea. What do you think?"

[Trent]

The trio caught up to Zeros' and Draven, and looked upon the commotion.

[Xorlak]

Draven turned to Zeros'.

"Is that really what happened on that island?  I know thier kind, and I find that hard to believe..."

He continued attempting to approach the light.

"Ultimate power or not, that thing is wreaking havoc on this dimension.  If I don't get it to stop, I won't have a world left to conquor.  Blast, if I only knew the spells Retan was casting upon the weapons..."

The child seemed to grow angry at Ryu...

"Prevent...?  All things cause and prevent.  You lie.  Lying is bad..."

He turned to Duilin.

"Re-tan...?  Haral-dur?  Are they dragons?  My Master is a dragon... a very old one..."

Suddenly, a shockwave burst forth from the child, tearing apart the earth underneath.  The ground split, wrecking the foundation of the nearby house.  The child began to float in the air...

"I must seek my Master..."

The distortion around the group shifted as he slowly moved upward, allowing those outside the disterbance (Zeros' and Draven) to approach him.

[Dude Man]

Duilin, backed up as the ground began to crack.

"His master is a Dragon? Dragon!"

<span style='color:blue'>FLASH BACK</span>

Iduran handed his sheathed blade to Duilin.

"Listen... I have no idea how to release this blade's power... or even if it exists... I thought the wizard we met awhile back might have known something, but apparently not... There's only one more I can think of to consult..."

He sighed, as if trying to decide whether what he was saying was a good idea or not. After a long pause,

"As you may have noticed, there's a mountain in the center of this island. Climb any tree and you will see it. Deep inside sleeps... a fire dragon... he's an intelligent creature, I know, and he's lived for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years. If there's anyone who would know about the enchantment of a blade, it would be him..."

<span style='color:blue'>FLASH BACK OVER...</span>

"No it can't be! The Dragon would have been killed in MDAA or whatever...." Duilin shook his head rapidly. He looks at Ryu. "I think that this kid is evil, and that bad things will happen to him and his deadly plan, whatever it is, if he is not reunited with his master..."

[Zeros']

Zeros' looked over at Draven the instant the distortion allowed them entry.

"Cmon Draven! Let get rid of that...thing!" Zeros' flapped his wings and flew directly towards the child, stopping a few meters near him.

Ryu jumped back with utmost grace and landing a couple meters from where he was once standing, his black cloak billowing up, shining his metal leg. He looked up and saw Zeros' floating near the child.

"Zeros'!" Zeros' looked down at Ryu. "The childs master is a dragon!" And according to Duilin, he said the dragon should of been killed in something called an MDAA!" He shouted up at Zeros'.

Zeros' nodded and turned to the Zion and his party.

"Zion! Right now we have a truce with Draven! He have to get rid of this child first!" He said pointing towards the child. "Anyone have any ideas?" He shouted.

[Dude Man]

"Ryu tried blasting it, but it didn't seem to work! It flew right threw the kid like it wasn't there!" Duilin tells Zeros'

Rink slowly walks out of the now, crumbling house. "The others are back? Good....now it is safe...Hopefully."

"It might not be for to long Rink." Duilin says. He then looks at Draven "I don't supose you have any idea how to get rid of this child, do you? You have been serching for the weapons for awile."

Maxwell and 11 other soilders, rideing on Wyverin fly towards Laus. "They went this way, men! Head toward the darkness in the sky!" Maxwell ordered. He had his bolt riffle back, and straped onto his back, in a specially disigned holster, he also had his new sword, in a holster on his leg. "Faster!"

[Trent]

"Woo, I can feel some strong ki pouring off of him!" Xenai was impressed by what he felt.

"The weapons... Should we bring them out?" Zion looked to Zeros'.

[Xorlak]

The child continued rising, his eyes now burning a crimson red.  An intense gust of wind circled him.

"Rid?  You wish to be rid of me?  That is bad.  I will ask my master for permission to kill you.  My master says not to kill without permission..."

Burning with his crimson aura, Draven burst forth through the gathering spectators.  He circled the boy, stopping directly in front of him.

"Child, Retan is gone.  However, I am the rightful heir to the Dark Empire, and thus your new master.  Come, obey me..."

The child raised an eyebrow at Draven.

"I don't understand...  You are all very confusing...  My Master cannot die...  You are a liar.  Liars are bad...  All of you... go away!  GO AWAY!!"

It was a mere flick of the finger to him.  In an instant, the child gathered a tremendous amount of shadow energy before his tiny hand, and sent towards Draven like a laser beam.  There was no time to block, let alone move...  The energy broke straight through his aura of flame and pierced through Draven's left shoulder.

"Gah--!!"

Draven's aura faded and he fell to the ground like a rock...

[Dude Man]

"What the hell!?" Duilin yelled, walked over to him, and kneeled down. "Draven?" He looked at the kid and then at the others "We can't harm it, but it can harm us....this is NOT good!" He looked at Draven again "Draven? If you're awake, answer me?"

He didn't seem worried, more of an 'Uh Oh' fealing. He didn't have any likeing for Draven one bit, but he had to admit, that he would be a usefull ally.

Maxwell and the others come closer to Laus....

[Zeros']

Zeros' flew directly in front of the child and stopped just inches from his face. He stared the little boy directly.

"Child." Zeros' spoke in a deadly calm voice. "If Retan was your master, he is dead." Zeros' said while gathering holy ki in his right hand as it started glowing a pure white, crackling with energy. '"If he was not, he is still alive, more then likely. Everyone dies, no one is immortal." Zeros' voice faded away as his right hand shot out, crackling with holy energy, directly towards the childs head.

[Trent]

Zion charged up some light energy, while Xenai charged dark energy, and Tsu charged neutral energy with which to handle the other two.

[Dude Man]

Duilin kept knealed down, but he shifted himself into a fighting stance kneal. He held his sword in his right hand, and he had his left hand pointed behind him, he then began to charge his yellow demon energy in his left hand.

Rink noticed everyone prepareing for combat, so he took a few steps backwards. I think I might sit out... He rubed his left shoulder and grinded his teeth, his famous nervous actions.

Several Wyverns landed about 45 feet away from the group, the wyverns had the soilders and Maxwell on them.

"Let's walk from here...They might spot us, if we fly..." Maxwell ordered. The squad, moved threw the terrian, like a modern day army platoon. "Laus, that's what the town is called. I went there before..."

[Xorlak]

The child dissapeared in an instant as the energy tore through the air where he was...

"A N G R Y . . ."

He was directly behind Zeros'...  His teeth were clenched, his left eye twitching...

"M-Master says not to get angry...  Must not get angry...  Bad things happen when I get angry... Bad..........  bad.... bad......"

A dark aura engulfed the boy.  He began to chuckle lightly for no apparent reason...

"He he he he..."

Draven sat up abruptly, holding his shoulder.  He removed his right hand from the wound, gazing at the blood on his glove.

"You... you... you little BRAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!"

He jumped up, exploding in flame.  Mounds of dirt and rock flew from the ground aound him.

"KILL HIM!!  KILL HIM NOW!!!!"

He braced his good right arm like a cannon and quickly gathered a massive amount of crimson energy before him.  In a second, a crimson sphere some 15 feet in diameter was before his arm, which he fired at the boy in the sky with ferocious rage...

[Zeros']

Zeros' disappeared from his spot and reappeared a few meters away and held his now transformed sword in both hands, having seprated it. He held both blades in his hand, the left one glowing a sickly black while the right one glowed a holy white.

Ryu grimced as he looked at everyone. He hadn't got enough ki, chi or chakra left to to anything useful.

[Dude Man]

Duilin, quickly stood up (more of a jump). And thrusted his left hand at the child blasting electricity at him. (Similar to The Emperor?s lightning attack in Star Wars, only yellow)

"I hear something!" Maxwell called, he then ran, they spotted Draven, with the enemy. "What?!" they noticed them attacking a child. "Hmmm....what is this?" Maxwell shifted his head around, and spotted Zion, he aimed his bolt riffle at him. But the lieutenant grabbed his gun and lowered it "No, sir, I believe Draven has formed an alliance. Perhaps that child is an evil sprit, just look at. I'm sure his' parent's wouldn't allow him to dress like that."

Maxwell gave an angry look at the solider, but then stopped. "That's a good point. I'll promote you to Lieutenant!"

"Sir, I already am Lieutenant." He replied

"Shut up! Or I'll bust you down to Lieutenant, so fast your head will spin!" Maxwell barked back. He then aimed his bolt gun at the boy and fired.
