Dark Age Legends

[Zeros']

The runes began to grow larger, the points of light started to swirl faster. New colors began to appear as the clouds still left in the sky started to swirl and move wildly. All around the planet, the Earth started to shake wildly. Wind started to pick up as Zeros' moved his hands faster and faster.

The runes carved into the air started to rise and grow, glowing brighter and brighter with each movement before noone could look into the sky without being blinded.

"NOW! TRANSFER THE ENERGY INTO THE EARTH!" Zeros' shouted and slammed his hands into the Earth, his left hand glowing holy white, his right glowing midnight black with flames crackling.

Ryu unsheathed his swords, glowing ruby red and sapphire blue respectively into the Earth. The Earth started to shake more wildly as natural phenomenon started to occur randomly.

As the energy fluxed, the cracks formed in the Earth began to reform. Trees that were burnt or uprooted were returned to their natural glory. Young saplings became towering trees that swayed in the breeze.

[Trent]

Tsu held up the ball of neutral energy. Zion put Eternity Weapon in the ball, and Xenai put Zero Weapon in. The ball swirled wildly with the energy. Tsu took the ball in, absorbing it into his body. The amount of energy there was was inconcievable. He was forced to eject the wings he'd recieved earlier in order to handle it all, but it continued to pulse within him. It was changing him.

"KYAAAAAA!!!!!"

Tsu's hair flashed rapidly, turning white, his eyes flashing and turning gold. His wings grew enormously, turning gold, and his entire being glowed with a bright light. Arch-Angel... //A transform from a side project of mine... Heh.

Zion and Xenai stepped back, and Seijin watched with a smile on his face. Tsu pointed his hands at the ground. "New Forever!!!"

The energy erupted from his hands in a bright flash. It enriched the Earth, speeding up the process of healing it. The entire existance of the Eternity and Zero Weapons were put into this. They were sacrificed to heal the planet.

[Haraldur]

Haraldur copied Zeros' phasing technique, and ran quickly around the wall, and behind Melkoth. As he did this he swung the sword towards his father's neck...

[Dude Man]

Duilin, slamed his fists down onto the ground aswell. His energy flowed into the earth, Rink's energy flowed into Duilin and down into the earth.

Life began to form. Animals, that were nearly wiped out by the destrution of the planet, began to appear.

Duilin's skin seemed to change back to normal, his wings did not dissappear yet they were rid of the crooked meancing horns, and evilish features.

"I think..." Duilin gasped "...that might have did it..."

[Zeros']

The ground glowed bright and th pinpricks of light fluxed even more wildly and he wind began to blow at Mach 1.... then it al suddenly stopped.

For a moment, it seemed that it didn't work. Then, a thin green, white and blue beam of energy erupted from the island the group was on. There was a defeaning explosion and a flash brighter then a thousand suns. The Earth shook wildly for a moment before any damage done to the Earth began to fix.

Cracks in the earth reformed, flowers blossomed and saplings became towerin trees. Islands that were sunkken by unnatural means began to rise from the ocean (like Retan's MDAA.

Romme rose again. The trees towered taller then ever, the grass green then before and the flowers seemd to glow.

All of his happened in a few seconds.

Back with Zeros' ground, the light was still bright. As the light faded, a figure could be seen.

(Gaia is an NPC. She would be rated.... VERY powerful, Melkoth and Haraldur's level.)

Standing in the middle of the island was a tall feminine figure. She had long, golden blone hair that reached to the floor, swaying in a nonexistant breeze; she wore a robe of pure white and green that seemed to flow off her perfect feminine figure. Her hands were clasped in front of her, a serene expression on her face. On her head was a circlet made of wood, vines and leafs.

The woman also had two, large pure white angel wings outlined in a white-green - they were easily three times the size of her body. She also seemed to glow with an ethernal light, telling anyone of hidden powers she held.

Slowly, she blinked and opened her eyes which were a startling emerald green with gold iris's. A smile lit up her face as she observed the group.

"Hello," she said, her voice sounding serene, as if the balad of a thousand angels, soothing and taking away any worries. She folded her wings and gazed at the group. Her smiled growed as she laid eyes on Seijin.

"Hello, Seijin," she said serenely.

[Trent]

"Hey, Gaia," said Seijin. "It's been a while."

Zion, Xenai, and Tsu were taken aback by the goddess's beauty. "You... You know her?" asked Tsu.

"Yup." //Next part can be ignored if you think light-heartedness isn't needed now, or if you think Gaia's too good for Seijin. Razz// "Graduated from high school with her. Went to prom with her, actually. We pulled the most awesome prank on Hades."

[Zeros']

"Yes," she laughed heartily. "Those were the better times." Her face suddenly turned serious as she gazed at the group. "Now, what is the purpose for summoning me, other then the obviousness of my planet suffering because of the sin's of man," she frowned. Her eyes glassed over and her gaze seemed a thousand miles away before she came to attention again.

"Ma'am," Zeros' said, bowing with a flourish. He seemed to be least affect by her beauty, whilst Ryu was stunned with a glazed look; even his crimson eye stopped entirely. "We have summoned you because of the recent.... problems on Midgard and Gaia," he said heavily and started to lean on Ryu again, who quickly snapped to attention. "I'm sorry.... I could not sufficently protect the planet...." he trailed off, seemingly ashamed.

Gaia crossed the distance with her white robes flowing off her form and lifted his chin with her elegent hand, forcing his bright green eyes to focus on her equally green and warm eyes.

"It ok, child," she soothed. Zeros' seemed to relax slightly. "Much to my dismay, I have witness the events of the past eon's. How man kind destroyed the earth.... but I also had the pleasure to see how certain people tried their hardest to protect the world. That, is what gives me the greatest warmth," she said serenely. "Now please tell me why you have summoned me," she added.

Zeros' already knew she knew, but humored her anyways. "Its because of Haraldur and Melkoth. I have had the displeasure of meeting Melkoth during one of my demension travels. Normally, I would be able to match them, but because of Draven's attack and myself putting up the barrier, I have been weakened too much to even stand a chance against anyone here," he said sorrowfully.

"I understand, my child," she said pleasently. "Now we must decided what to do about them or I fear the world may be destroyed by their battle," she added and looked around the group. Her eyes fell on Ellenna's sleeping form and she frowned again and moved towards her in long strides. When she reached her, she opened her wings fully and placed a gentle hand on her forehead, her frown deeping.

"I see," she murmured quietly. Her hand glowed a gentle greena and white as she wrapped her wings around her protectively, willing her awake.

(Gaia is an NPC.... anyone can control her.)

[Xorlak]

"Wha-- what in blazes...?"

Draven was stunned by the regeneration around him.  Even the barren island he was on was sprouting plants.  He sensed a warm inviting presence that seemed to slightly replenish his sapped strength.

"Impossible..."

No amount of chaos or destruction could impress this battle hardened man.  But this regeneration, this regrowth... was completely foreign to him...

His curiosity won over his fatigue, and he took to the skies, slowly approaching the source of this strange power.

The rejuvenation stopped before it could near the father and son, as the battle was much too intense to allow it...

The blade clipped the tip of Melkoth's hairs as he ducked, and he began to spin rapidly with his own blade outstretched.  A fearsome tornado emanated from his body, digging deeply into the earth and spewing massive boulders skyward and towards his son...

[Dude Man]

"Amazeing..." Rink gasped "Gaia. Good to see you."

"Um, yes. Who are you little one?" Gaia asked

"An ex servent of the dark god Qor. I highly belive he has passed." Rink asked

"Interesting. But yes, I belive I herd of that happening." Gaia

"Yeah..." Rink said softly "I'll have to stop you right there, I know how it happened, we'll talk about later. The half demon dosen't need to hear it right now..."

"Um, miss Gaia..." Duilin said "You probably allready know this, but that women, is known as The Light, and an old Prophet told me that if she if present when Haraldur finishes his revenge, then the world, ahem, 'won't' end..." He paused for a second "Is that your plan madam?"

[Zeros']

Gaia shook her head.

"No, young one, it is not. I sensed her in a deep enduced sleep. For what reason she was in it, I have no clue," she sighed and shook her head. She then looked at Duilin. "Even if this is true, I am waking her because she need a chance to live again; a right everyone should have, no matter how evil or pure they are. Because life is one of the most precious things you can cherish in this realm," she said serenely.

[Haraldur]

One of the rocks hit Haraldur's hand, causing his sword to be knocked away, but it went back towards him and merged with him. Haraldur jumped towards Melkoth and grabbed his neck, and began to squeeze...

[Dude Man]

"Well, if Haraldur finishes his revenge, then if what the Prophet said was true, then the world will be destroied." Duilin replied "If we can't find Haraldur, then what will we do?"

[Zeros']

Gaia placed Ellenna back on the ground and straightened and looked at Duilin.

"You seem to forget that this is my Earth.... I control this Earth and Midgard.... I can banished people from the mortal plane if I wish, but I have never done it, for one i've never have a reason and another was it takes too much effort to extract the soul from the body..." she said mildly as if talking about the weather.

[Trent]

Xenai didn't have so much trouble now. "So yer sayin'... Haraldur kills Melkoth... BOOM! World destroyed... But... This is your planet so you can cancel out this propecy...?"

"Or are you saying," said Zion, "That someone's gonna have to destroy Haraldur and Melkoth?"

"Or..." said Xenai, "Are you sayin' somethin else?"

[Zeros']

Gaia blinked and smiled at them.

"I can cancel out the power of those two's fight.... but in the process, I would be destroyed to save the Earth.... I cannot cancel the prophecy though.... destroying both Haraldur and Melkoth would cancel the effects though.... but right know, the people capable of it are too weak...." she sighed and shook her head. "Though I've never had to fight before, it seems I may have to use my powers now," she said, upset at the idea.
