Dark Age Legends

[Zeros']

Zeros' folded his wings inward and lowered his sword. He narrowed his eyes in concentration as he held both his palms out and began to chant. His wings burst out again and began to flap wildly as his arms traced intracate patterns in the air and runes started to appear again, glowing with power. His hands started to blur and disappear as thousands of runes began to lite up the air and the area around him crackled with magical energy.

He finished with a flourish, bringing his palms into the sky as lightning crackled around him. When he was done, there was another bright flash of white light and a portal of swirling black and white energy appeared on the island. In the portal, it showed Haraldur and Ellenna through the watery surface.

"Its a locator spell. It will transport you near the target's magical aura," said Zeros' in his dual voice. "Come, if you want," he said. "Be warned, you may be seperated from the group once you step in."

Zeros' fell from the sky and stepped in. He unsheathed his sword and turned it into its god form. All around him was an endless void of black. Haraldur and Ellenna were nowhere to be seen, but he was counting on that.

"HARALDUR!" he bellowed. "COME AND FIGHT ME!"

Back on the floating island, Ryu shook his head and entered the portal. He was in the same endless void of black with noone in clear sight. He shrugged and walked forwards.

[Haraldur]

//Er... this was Haraldur's suicide, you know...//

[Dude Man]

//You should have made it more clear. But I knew that. Zeros' you should edit your post//

[Xorlak]

(Heh...  Good place to end.  Let's wrap up in two days (the 22nd).)

Draven watched with a raised eyebrow as Haraldur vanished, keeping his arms folded.  He had seen many teleportation spells lately.  This did not look like one...

[Trent]

"I get the feeling he's not coming back," said Tsu. He turned to Draven. "Now what about you?"

[Dude Man]

(No! Not Sunday! I'm busy then! I'll be at my dad's and I'm going to see Star Wars III! Can't we make it later?)

"He's gone isn't he..." Duilin groaned "So Draven, you happy now?" He turned around "I subgest you either run or fight. The world can't be safe with you in it! Yet again, now you have nothing! The weapons are gone and your army is dead. You have nothing left, Draven!"

[Zeros']

Zeros' smiled into the void and sheathed his sword and let his powers drain out of him. He did not sense Haraldur presence. His hair shifted back to its silver and his retreated into his back, his muslces relexing. He waved his hand and Ryu was called to his position. Ryu looked up at Zeros' questionabily and Zeros' only smiled. Ryu nodded his assent and disappeared with a shimmer, his two sword and the blood red eye clanking to the ground.

//Ryu was never real. Zeros' made him using his powers.\\

Zeros' then turned and held out his palm and made a slicing motion. A shimmer in the air could be seen and Zeros' stepped into it. With a shimmer of displaced air, Zeros' disappeared.

//Zeros' was actually in Limbo. He wanted to make sure Haraldur's spirit was gone forever. The spell he cast was a tracing/teleporting spell. It traced the users aura and teleported them there. Since Haraldur was dead, it sent Zeros' to Limbo.\\

Back on the island, a small, almost unnoticable cut formed behind some trees and Zeros' stepped out of the worm hole. He leaned against a tree and sighed, rubbing his fingers to his temple.

"Don't count me out yet....  It'll take moe then a trip to Limbo to finish me off..." he said

[Dude Man]

"Were did Kami-Ryu go!? Did he make it back?" Rink asked Zeros', sounding a little worried.

[Haraldur]

There was a rumbling sound, and, all around the Dark continent, new land was rising up, finally resulting in it having doubled its size.

"So, the lands did rise up. What happens next I wonder?" said the Great Prophet.

[Xorlak]

(Okay, Monday then.  And that's final!)

Draven's head tilted towards Duilin.

"My my, ungrateful aren't we?"

A flash of heated air pushed downwards from him, glowing crimson at the tips.  The man began to float.  He turned to Zeros'.

"The job is done.  Our alliance has come to an end.  The next time we meet, we shall be adversaries once more...  I look forward to that day, my worthy opponent..."

Crimson flame engulfed his body and he took off, disappearing over the horizon as night began to fall.

Before he disappeared, Draven contacted Zeros' telepathically, his voice ringing in his mind...

"You are much better than these earthly fools.  Don't allow them to hold you back..."

[Dude Man]

"Cowardly bastard..." Duilin muttered. "I'll be looking foward to fighting him again..."

He turns around and walks off abit... "sigh..."

[Zeros']

Zeros' grinned in anticipation and sent a message telepathically towards Draven.

"Our next fight will be our last. I look forwards to it and noone shall interrupt. And don't worry, next time you'll finally see the full extent of my strength...

Zeros' stood from his position and turned and looked towards Duilin.

"Ryu was never real. I used my power to make a body to act like a real person," he said. He looked towards the sky and smiled. He sat down on the ground and folded his arms behind his head, leaning back.

"Now it is time for us to wait.... The final battle draw's nearer.... our next confrintation with Draven will be our last.... the battle with shatter the heavens and shake the earth to its core.... get some sleep. We will need out strength," he murmured sleepily. He closed his eyes and let the wind waft over him and feel asleep in seconds.

[Trent]

"What do you mean 'our'?" said Tsu. He crossed his arms, letting his transformation fade out. "It's obvious that you want to do everything yourself." He laid down and let sleep come.

Zion noticed it too, but decided not to say anything. He laid down and fell asleep. Xenai was already out.

[Dude Man]

"Well, I'm going to help Zeros' fight Draven. He enslaved me for a large fraction of my life, with the Dark Empire. I to, have a vengance..."

He crosses his arms, and folds his wings. A vision of his smashing Darion's face comes back to his memory and he flinches as he remembers Pophin's spear nearly impale him.

"Duilin," Rink said "I think you're getting alittle to angry with him, I thin-"

"Shut it Rink..." Duilin interupted. "And I don't see why we don't fight Draven now, Haraldur gave us enough strength to fight a nest of Red Dragon's before he killed himself."

He picked up a stone, and threw it in a near by pond, it skipped across it.

[Xorlak]

As the last rays of the sun fell behind the horizon, chaos seemed to give way to peace... another cycle completed...
