Draven's aura disappeared.
"Hmph. He'll likely try and strike back at me, since none of you have countries of your own. I'm going to return to my capital. We shall continue this the next time he shows his face... In the meantime, you may enter my empire freely, for I have shown my generals images of you, and they will not attack. Just don't do anything they might view as suspicious..."
He turned and began to fly westward, back to the Crimson Capital.

Ven leaned on the ice, listening intently to those above. Luckily the waters were much calmer now. It looks like the battle had been averted, for now... Maybe he could use this time to get a few more answers... or maybe he should continue looking for what he was in the first place...

Draven raced through the sky, the wind in his face. The sky had regained its blue color after the intense battle, and it was almost nice. Almost...
"My my, what a lively one you are..."
Draven stopped immediately in mid air, and addressed the shadow that was now floating before him...
"What did you say? Do you wish to die?"
Mavas appeared in full view now, the pendant ruby around his neck beating a crimson light. He held his right hand to his chin, and the other at his hip.
"Heh heh heh... death? What is death, exactly...?"
"I'll take that as a yes."
Draven extended his right hand, pointing his index finger at the man's head. A brilliant red light appeared at the tip of his gloved finger.
Mavas began to laugh. He threw both arms outwards to his sides.
Before Draven could execute his attack, hundreds of white points of light appeared around him. They began to shoot inwards towards him, reforming their shapes into the images of knives. Drave clenched his extended right fist (and the red light within it) and brought his left hand out from under his cape, which made his cape spread out behind him, snaping his hand outwards and then to the sky as if he were batting away a single ball of energy. All of the knives immediately ricocheted off of a sort of invisible barrier and disintegrated...
