//Well, that IS his additude... But, what happened, was, when the ki blade hit the tower, instead of completely annihlitating it, it instead sucked the tower into the dimension Zeros' had created, bringing the dead soldiers with it. Because there was so much magic used, the soldiers bodies couldn't handle the strain and sort of, "shut down", in realitive terms.
But, all magic leaves small traces of where it once was. If one very adept in magic, say, Zeros', Haraldur or Draven, went back to the place where Alpha Retan was destroyed, they could still feel traces of barrier Zeros' had thrown up to delay the planets destruction. So, someone as adept as Haraldur in magic could scan the resadue near the tower, and find out it wasn't a maliacious spell, but, a teleportation spell.
So, the spell wasn't really "harmful" in a way, if you don't count putting them into a coma harmful. And, if your look back to where I posted the tower scene, it never said the tower was "destroyed", it simply said "disappeared", so, there could of been infiniate possiblities. As for the "dead zone" that happened after, that the result of using such a powerful spell. The magical backlash is what caused the "dead zone" to happen.
I hope that cleared things up. Onto the story!\\
"A Facist is always a Facist, even if they're only indirectly involved into incidents with make them this, eh Haraldur?" he whispered. "Maybe it is true, but... Times are changing, rapidly. Soon, more then likely, magic will be gone, and we'll be forced into hiding when they start to grow more independant and daring," he said to no one in particular. He decided arguing with Haraldur would simply give him even MORE of a headache then he had already devolped from Haraldur shattering his sword.
//The sword has a direct link with Zeros'. The pause in where Zeros' had just stared at the sword was from shock, but, he was also in pain, because he could "feel" the sword shatter. This, in terms, gave him a headache.\\
Zeros' disappeared, using his ghost technique, and reappeared next to where his sword was reforming. There was one last flash of light, and the sword reappeared, good as new. It had taken Zeros' some magic on his part just to reform the sword, but, luckly, the swords own magic took away most of the strain.
Zeros' picked up his swords, and did a few practice swings - switching inbetween Demon and God forms - before nodding, and resheathing it. His trenchcoat was almost completely destroyed, so Zeros' chucked it away.
Now, one could see all of Zeros' upper half. His body was... one big scar. Everywhere you looked, there was a dark or light scar on his body, covering almost every inch of his skin. There were even some place that were reinforced by metal and steel, much like on his right hand. Some of the scars went deeper, still.
Zeros' left hand didn't have nearly as many scars, or the problems that his sword hand did (Right hand). The scars throbbed constantly while Zeros' was in battle, but, he usually ignored and fought through the pain.
He turned, clad only in his loose, black pants, and walked over to Duilin. He put a hand on Duilin's right shoulder and stepped up beside him.
"Now, what do you want to do, Haraldur? Your other man is gone, and it's two against one," he said to the slightly crazed man.
