Heh...I doubt it. My RPGCode skills have about 3 or 4 years of rust on them.

It's highly unlikely. It's been four years since the current demo was released, and I still don't even have a solid story for the game. I'd be surprised to even see another demo of Alpha.

I haven't even finished the first one! Or do you mean you want to see the next demo? The chances for there being a Demo 2 are far, far, far greater than me making the 2nd or 3rd parts of the series.

Why not have it as a sort of generic D&D style story, rather than a generic FF style story? It might make a change. I have the Dungeon Master's Guide. For example, you could have them as "normal" adventurers who are commisioned to clear out some sewers by a local baron, and then it can go on from there and eventually they can fight dragons etc., meanwhile the underlying story of Godiva flows past them and sometimes intervenes and eventually everything can link up and they save the world or whatever.

That's pretty much how it is now actually. In the first demo, you basically go into a cave outside the town of Eisle and fight monsters there, until you reach the dragon, which is the first boss. Despite the lack of any real plot, the game did quite well with reviews. If you like games like AD&D or Diablo, Godiva is that style of game, where there's more of an emphasis on creating your character than the story.

In that case why not use a generic D&D story?

You said there was no plot. So I must have asumed that meant no story. Sorry.

... ... ... Wow. I was just wondering about what the reaction on TKZ would be if you posted new stuff about Godiva and said you were starting up again...

... ... ... ... Wow. I was just wondering if that happen with Cyrus and D&C...
