What are you guys talking about? You can already have specific items for each character...with the default menu and battle system....

Of course you can! In the item editor, there is a section called "Item Usage". Select the option that says "Used by Defined Characters" and type in the Handle of the character that can use it. Only that character will be able to use/equip the item.

There are some games, like Golden Sun and Fire Emblem where each player has their own item inventory. Then, in battle, they can only use the items they have on them. This adds a whole element of strategy.

oh....i knew that Spyder, but what DudeMan is talking about is where the diffrent characters can have their OWN inventory, not their own personal items.

for example:

Code: [Select]
Spyder has - 3 potions, 3 herbs, Elemental Star - in his inventory.
DarkElite has- 1 potion, 17 herbs, Gaia Sword - in his inventory.
DudeMan has- 70 potions, Tisiphone Blade, 3 Lucky Coins - in his inventory.

get it now?

you mean in the game? or are you just playing?

the gaia sword you recieve in the venus lighthouse in the first game, but, it's extremely weak compared to the DarkSide Blade (you can get this by giving a dark matter to the blacksmith in the second game, but it is VERY rare) which is unfortunately cursed....

Ahh, I get it now. Yeah, you would have to make custom menu's and battle system for that.
