The only problem, that's not the proper translation.

We prefer "Purist"

technically it translates as "Sit" but it can only be used in context when referring to a dog.  Hence its usage in the anime and manga.

Such a great game. I really want to be able to buy somewhere C&C and Red Alert, and then Red Alert 2. And Tiberian Twilight when it comes out!

It really would be great for MS to be the main TK site. After all, it never went down did it?
Sure it has. When I did the server transfer so we could get more space/bandwidth the site was down for a week. Until TKZ actually dies, if in fact it does, it should remain the official site. There is nothing that MS has over TKZ other than space, bandwidth, # of games, and it's about 6 months older. TKZ runs much more efficiently, and is far more popular than MS.

Well, yes...but I think Vampz has more reason than ever to keep it going now. He wouldn't have brought it back and spent all this time and money if he knew he would take it down again after a year or two. And it being the official site would give him more of a reason to keep it up as well.

yeah....

more efficiantly? bwa ha! no! they have had many times down, and places where i slows down *a lot*

i think the main reason as to why they are so active is because they are the official site, and so when people just try to come up with a site that might have help on the TK, they goto www.rpgtoolkit.com, and then get to the TKZ...

Many times down? Other than when Vampz took the site offline, this is the only time I can remember TKZ going down. As for being more efficient, I meant in putting files in their respective places and reviewing them, etc. Granted, MS has improved dramatically since Xorlak and Matt put the PHP site together, but it's still not as good as TKZ as far as I can see it.

That is true, DarkElite.

But then again, before becoming the official site TKZ still got a pretty respectable average of 4,879 page views a day.

In our first month as official site we averaged 16,766 page views a day. Since we have started new concepts such as game section, blogs, and since I have started pushing open source development, this month we have averaged 20,991 page views.

So the official tag does a lot, but I think even you, a hardball MS community member, has to at least give some credit to the staff and mods who do their stuff at the official site and continue to make it popular.

And the reason I closed the last TKZ was because I was becoming a nerd, I needed a very selfish and quick get out. Now my life is settled, going well and since the new TKZ is php...I can run it pretty much on it's own with no real input from me to a point.

Plus, the official tag and my semi-running of open source development means I really expect to be here (and the TK) for a long time. It's my hobby outside of sports and music. I don't do anything else on the internet.
