I will try to convert a few people from the rpg2knet when i have a chance.  I (luciferhawk) need to get above noob ststus there.  All you who are on there send me a message or two so I have a good friends list (3 people isn't enough).  in fact i shall start shortly *evil grin*

We should aspire to be better, not equal to RPGMaker2k. The TK provides far better graphics capabilities than RM2k ever will.

Just look at games like Quintessance or Heraldry. They speak for themselves. RM2k could never achieve graphics of that quality because of it's severe limitations. Granted, animation in the TK isn't quite silky smooth at the moment, but there have been drastic updates to TK3 in the last few months, and it can only get better from here on.

If I remember right RM2k has a color limit of 256 colors and nothing higher, the TK can support higher, right?

oh yeah...256...not sure why I put 16. That would suck Laughing . And yeah, TK supports 32-bit color.
