First off, I know I posted this on the TK boards, but very few took it seriously, so I'm taking it here. Alrighty, here we go!

A shadowy figure with long black hair stands under a giant tree with big, green leaves and a bumpy trunk in a large, shadowy forest not far from the castle of the once prospering Uhon Kingdom. The figure appears to be out of breath, and has a moderate wound on his side. He comes out of the shadow of the large tree, and comes to a very clear stream. In his reflection he sees his long, flowing, jet black hair. He sees his dark green eyes and his light leather armor. On his back he carries a very wide sword. His black leather gloves are covered in blood from his wound. He dunks his head into the stream and takes a big gulp of water, he then begins to cleanse his wound and looks for some vine to tie a large leaf to his side with. He then hears a few angry voices shout "Colban Sith! You are under arrest by command of the Uhon Kingdom for the attempt of an assassianation of the king!" Colban breaks out into a sprint. He moves so fast most wouldn't consiter him a human. Even though his side is aching with pain, he still moves much faster than his persuers. Though the green bushes and trees he runs. He then thinks to himself, "Heh, I can't run forever, and this squad probably isen't that well trained. Hah, they even shouted out and warned me." Colban jumps and does a good number of back flips, grabs a large branch and jumps through the trees. He comes up behind the squad and with a single slash of his large sword, the back row is decapitated, never knowing what happened. The rest of the group heard the sickening thwak of the sword against the necks. There were five warriors left in the squad, 4 men and a woman. 3 of the men charged with spears at him at once, all from different directions. The spears were half a foot from Colbans Torso, when Colban dunked and 2 of the attackers died on each others spears, the last had his legs slashed off by Colbans sword. The warrior screamed in pain. The last two warriors jumped off the trees and the woman managed to slash Colbans left shoulder, making it very painful for him to swing his sword. Colban still swung his sword a final time, grazing the male warriors stomach. Blood spewed from Colbans shoulder from the movement. Colban decided these warriors were formable, and he was in no condition to continue battle. He jumped up, grabbed a large branch and swung onto a tree, and hurtled from treetop to treetop. "Damn", the warriors swore.

Continue the story out of the prolouge if nessicary, and have fun.  Very Happy

//Excellent.  This part of the story starts in a small town.

The well was dry as if there was a really thirsty person who came by to drink it all up.

Ronald ran towards his home. "Mama, the well, it's dried."
Mom-"What? That can't be."

They both run towards the well. "Hey it is dried." She said. Then she looks ahead and see's the coulprets: soldiers. She goes over to them.

Mom-"Hey! Just because you are from the army doesn't give you a right to drink all the water."
Soldier 1-"So what? We are preparing for a battle next week. Were gonna need all the streangth we can get."
Mom-"Yes but the people of this town need to live too."
Soldier 1-"Ha! And what makes you think we are going to listen to you. What do you know about the army."
Mom-"I happen to be an ex-soldier."
Soldier 1-"I see. You say that and yet you don't let us drink in peace."

The mom was getting disgruntled. "Forget it. You are impossible." She heads back home.

//This is the part of the cave but ima change it to fit the scene

"Come on Colbain. He went this way." A soldier wispered to the other.
Colbain-"Hey Tax, this forest looks strange. Isn't this the off limit's region of the forest."
Tax-"No, the off limits region is in the south. Even so, what do you care? We got a job to do."
Colbain-"Well there's gotta be a reason why it's off limits. Maybe theres a monster."
Then before Tax could reply he saw the onslaught that has happend.
Colbain-"What?..What...happened?"

Wait.. who's Colbain? You didn't mean Colban did you? If so, he couldn't have had a companion, right now he has no acomplises. Nor is he searching for someone.

If Colbain is a completely different person, why'd you give him a name so similar to my character? neh, anyways, carry on.

Colbain is a soldier.  I didn't notice they have the same name.  Let's keep it like that, it may turn to some events soon.

Ah, okay. I'll continue the story now..

Colban was sure he has sucessfully evaded the two soldiers after he had hurtled through some twenty trees. He pounced down onto the earth with a thud and wondered through the greenery til it was almost dark. The sky was a fiery twilight, hunger and fatique began to set in. He found a small, shadowy cavern going in under a steep hill. "Ah, shelter" he whispered to himself quietly. He pulled a piece of flint and a rock out of his baggy pants. He kneeled down and knocked them together until the small bit of fine grass under his hands caught a spark and ignited. He saw a chipmonk outside his cave and killed it with his sword. He roasted the chipmonk of a stick over his fire. He picked the animal apart after it was a golden brown and devoured it. He suurounded his fire with a bunch of large rocks so he could let it burn through the night without it catching fire and burning him in his sleep. He sat before the camp fire for a few hours, speaking to himself. "One day the people of Uhon will thank me for what I am doing." He said to himself. Colban grew tired and rolled over about 3 feet from the fire and slept with his sword in hand.

NEW PART!!
       |
       v
Colbain and Tax ran in on Colban in his sleep. Colbain and Tax recognize Colban's face from wanted posters. They capture him with a net. Colban sturs and awakes, but he is unarmed and stuck in the big black net. Colbain and Tax set off to the castle, but the net gets a big rip in it on a thorn after tax and Colbain had lugged Colban a few miles.....

Tax-"He's getting away.  GET HIM!!!"

Soon alot of soldiers start to run after him.

Colban was still very tired and collapsed but did not lose consciousness.

Tax then put his foot on his head.

Tax-"Look at you.  Worthless dog.  Lying there on the floor.  What were you thinking?"
Colban-"..."
Tax- <_<

Tax then kicks him in the stomach. "Get this guy back on the net.  No wait.  Tie him up in the rear of the buggy."

They tie him up.

Colbain-"Tax, is this really neccessary.  This seems real crue."
Tax-"Colbain your a real wuss you know that."
Colbain-"Tax..."
Tax-"Shut up.  Come one.  We got a deadline to meet."

They head back to the court in Roughmount City.  There he was incarcerated.

Colban-"Damn. What now?"

Colban was very angry. "If only I had a sword.." he thought. "I could bust right out of this damn wood box!" He waited hours, then Colbain began to feel guilty. He talked to Colban in his wooden cell. He asked Colban why he was wanted. Colban replied, "I tried to assassinate the King...". Colbain was shocked. "Why!? Why would you want to kill the king?!" Colbain exclaimed. Colban said in a mocking tone, "You call that little, prissy, selfish bastard a king...?" "What do you mean?" Colbain asked in a curious voice. Colban retorted, "You don't know? Have you not noticed how he lives a life of pleasure, while his Kingdom is in shambles? His people cannot afford food or clothing, so we must steal. Then he punishes us for stealing. He is pratically making criminals then pnishing them. He hordes all the money to himself. He bathes in money, wears the finest silk, eats the most exotic food, while we can't even get a crumb of bread. He's no king. He's a damn communist leader. He owns us all. If I could have killed him, a new leader would immurge. A true, kind hearted leader. I would've made sure of that... but you, you, you bastard, would prefer to live in poverty, licking your 'Kings' boots huh?" "Hey, watch your tone buddy! I was about to let you go, but now I'm not so sure..." Colbain said. "So you do want to lick that mans boots huh? If you didn't, you'd let me go.." Colban said smuggly. Colbain said, "you're right.. You must be freed. This prison is not well guarded. Follow me." Colbain unlocked Colban's box and Colban then followed. Colbain creeped through a few hallways, grabbed Colban's sword out of a box and gave it to Colban. He then continued his walk to a large window with no guards around it. They jumped through it. Colbain said, "I think I'll join you on your journey to kill the king. I don't want to work for him. You've covinced me." Colban said, "Fine, but don't screw up. Do you have a weapon?"

//Well isn't this something.  I watch a TV show where the emperor is always with concubines and is a real wuss while the imperial city is cold and the poor even sell their children.  Oi.  And in the show, the central committee tend to treat him like a door mat.  I can't believe it it, such a coincidence.  Okay back to the RP.

Colbain-"Yes I do.  I have a mace."
Colban-"Good.  Now what is your name?"
Colbain-"My name?  Colbain Jenkins."
Colban-"Colbain?  That may get confusing with my name.  I will call you Jenkins."
Jenkins-"Okay."

They sneak through the window.  Jenkins leads him to his buggy but the wheel was broken.

Jenkins-"No.  My buggy is broken.  What should we do?"
Colban-"Calm down.  Maybe we can find someone to help us."

They run out to the open only to see soldiers.  They head towards an alley.

Colban-"What is this?"
Jenkins-"Oh I forgot.  This place is full of soldiers that are preparing for next weeks raid."
Colban-"Well we can't stay here all week.  We got to do something."

They see a open window.

Jenkins-"Let's go through that window."
Colban-"What?  Thats ludacrous.  Someone probably lives in there."
Jenkins-"Well it's rather that or stay here and get caught."

Colban looked disgruntled.

Colban-"Alright fine."

They head towards the window and get in.

The house was empty. It was a small house, 2 rooms. 1 room with a table, chairs, a few cuboards, and a wood stove, and the other had a small bed and a few boxes. Colban said, "Let's raid the house." "But, but, that's stealing! It's wrong!" Jenkin's stampered. Colban replied, "Well, we need some items. A sword and mace is fine and all, but we need some food and waterskins. A small knife wouldn't hurt either. We're not gonna rob him blind, we're just gonna take what we need." "alright.." Jenkins said reluctantly. Colban said, "You search the bed room, I'll search this big room." Jenkins walked into the bedroom and searched under the pillows and through the boxes. Meanwhile, Colban searched the cuboards. They came back, meeting at the doorway. Jenkins held a small knife, some rope, and bag. Colban was cradeling a loaf of bread and 2 waterskins in his arms. They stuffed it all into the bag. Then Jenkins saw something he hadn't noticed. In one of the chairs sat a wooden wheel. "What luck!" he exclaimed. "This wheel isn't the same size as those on my buggy, but a lumpy ride is better than no ride." he said. Colban did a half smile, but you could tell he was pleased. At that moment, Tax barged in! "What the bloody hell are you doing in my damn house!!??" Tax yelled. "Colbain... what are you doing here.. and that low-life scoundrel..?" "Heh, either way, I'm gonna whail on yur asses nice and proper!" Tax pulled out his weapon and made a run for Colban. Jenkins ran in and whacked Tax with his mace. The hit landed on Tax's stomach. Tax whailed in pain, and blood spewed from the wound the spikes of the mace made. Colban ran up behind Tax and put his arm over Tax's mouth and nose. The lack of air made Tax pass out. They cut off a piece of the rope and tied Tax to one of the chairs. "Well, he's fixed. Good work there Jenkins." Jenkins grinned. "Alright, go put that wheel on the buggy. I'll stand guard." Colban said. Jenkins fixed the buggy and no one had come by. The jumped onto the buggy and began to ride off. A lone soldier tried to stop them, but Colban merely stuck his sword out of the buggy and the soldier was ran through. "Off we go!" Jenkins shouted.

The two heroes managed to escape the guards and eventually made their way to a clearing some distance away from the encampment.
Colbain:Well, we're out, so what now?
Colban:First I think we need to get some sleep. And my wounds aren't still that well either.
Colbain:Yeah,so while we look for a nice spot to rest, mind telling me your story?
Colban:Bah...nothing much to tell. I am Colban. I can't quite remember my family name, but I was adopted and raised by Muro-Kai.
Colbain:Muro-Kai? Isn't that a thief's guild?
Colban:Obviously that's what you soldiers know. But it wasn't all that. In my place the guild is respected. I am proud of that, because i've lived a humble life. Never have we exercised corruption nor tyranny. Like I said, we are respected.
Colbain:Yeah, I guess all we soldiers know is that the Muro-Kai is a bunch of thugs. Mind you, you were some extraordinary thugs.
Colban:Since you're with me now, I prefer you calling my family warrioirs
Colbain:Oh, yeah...right..ok.
......
.......
.........
Colban:What about you? What's your story?
Colbain:Me?I was separated from my parents. I used to live at a village known as Arnli. It sure were good times...I can still remember the flowers, the scent..the peace...and my parents...
Colban:Then?
Colbain:I was taken away at the age of 13. I was brought into the castle and was trained to be a soldier. I served the King eversince.
Colban:Hmmm..not bad.
Colbain:Not bad?
Colban:I thought you were one of those who had it all...but I guess we partly had the same fate. Why don't you visit your parents?
Colbain:I would, If I am allowed to.
Colban:Well, you're no longer in the servitude of the King...I think I see a nice place to spend the night...

Jenkins said, "hey.. you're right! It's gonna be dangerous though. Arnli is a port city, so it's veeeery well guarded." "Heh, like those little runts your king calls soldiers could stop me..." said Colban. Jenkins looked angered. "Err.. cept you. You're one of his better soldiers. I can't believe that idiot had you ranked as a low class foot soldier." Jenkins looked pleased. "Aight Jenkins, you know the way, lead the buggy!". Jenkins responded by whipping the horses.

It was near midnight when they finally reached Arnli. They slowed down as they got about half a mile from the front gate. They couldn't see the guards because of the darkness, but they knew there was at least 20 guards there. "Hmm... I think we best just try the West gate." Jenkins nodded. They left the buggy in a small clearing in a forest not far from the city. They set out on foot to the west gate. They heard many voices near the west gate. "Damn.." Colban swore quietly. "Hmm... those walls arn't very hard to climb. I used to climb em' all the time as a child.." Jenkins said. Colban said, "aight, we'll do it that way." They walked over to the east side of the city, for there was no gate there. Only the 20 foot wall. "Wow, your town sure if stupid, leaving a whole side open to attack.." Colban said. "Well, the king hoggs most of the soldiers. We have few guards.." Jenkins replied. "Either way, let's climb!" Jenkins said. The bricks of the wall were rough so it was easy to get grips on. There was also gaps between the bricks big enough for feet and hands to fit in. "Wow, this is easy." Colban whispered. They reached the top of the wall after climbing for about 5 minutes. They then set on to the task of climbing back down. They climbed down about 5 feet then jumped down with a thud. The noise attracted the attention of 2 guards, but they only saw Jenkins. Colban was right behind them.. Before they could even make a sound, Colban had decapitated them. "See? They can't stop us." Colban said. Jenkins led the way to his parents house. When they reached the door, Jenkins knocked. "They arn't gonna answer the door. It's past midnight. They're asleep.." Jenkins pulled out a key. "I kept this ever since I was forced into the army." Jenkins opened the door with the key. They walked in...

Jenkins-"Mother, Father.  are you here."
Silence
Colban-"They must be upstairs asleep."
Jenkins-"Your probably right. It's best if we wait till morning.  I would hate to wake them up."

They sat in the darkness of the living room.  Hearing some kind of commotion from the local drunks outside.

Colban-"Are all these soldiers going to be in the battle next week?"
Jenkins-"Yes.  the strongest of men and women.  It is said that next weeks battle is going to be a really slugfest."
Colban-"Slugfest?"

Then they hear a noise. Jenkins got startled.

Jenkins-"What was that?"  They wielded their weapons.  THen someone was coming down stairs.

???-"Who's there?"
Jenkins-"Father?"
???-"Son?"

An old looking man appeared at the bottom of the stairs. He had a long white beard and carried a staff that seemed to contain magical properties.
"Father!!" Jenkins yelled. Jenkins ran up to his father and hugged him. "How's mother?" Jenkins asked. Jenkin's father looked grim. "She died son. A year or so after the military drafted you, some drunken soldiers raided our house. We tried to fight back, but the soldiers killed your mother and messed me up pretty bad too." Jenkin's father said in a raspy voice. "Mother..." Jenkins whimpered. A tear rolled down Jenkins left cheek, and Colban looked a bit upset too, though he tried to hide it. "Bastards!" Jenkins exclaimed. He slammed his fist into the wall, and left a big hole in the wood. He then apologized to his father for the damage. "So, who's this odd looking friend of yours?" Jenkin's father said. "I wouldn't talk about people looking odd old man." Colban said. Jenkin's father took no offense in the comment. "So what brings you to my home?" The old man asked. Colban and Jenkins explained their story.

The old man said, "Yep. I don't like the king either. His soldiers.. gah.. I hate them with a passion. I'd love to aid you in your Quest, but I don't know how I culd be any help to you. I'm old and feeble.." "Judging by that staff, I'd say otherwise." Colban said. "Alright, if you need the aid of a mage.." He said. "Before we set off, we'll need some rest though. and could you help me heal this gash on my side? By the way, what is your name?"

//Oh, and we need more RPers. Come on guys! There's plenty of spaces avaliable. Old man, Tax, those 2 warriors Colban was confronted by in the begining...

We barely remember who or what came before this precious moment,
We are choosing to be here right now. Hold on, stay inside
This holy reality, this holy experience.
Choosing to be here in

This body. This body holding me. Be my reminder here that I am not alone in
This body, this body holding me, feeling eternal
All this pain is an illusion.

Alive, I

In this holy reality, in this holy experience. Choosing to be here in

This body. This body holding me. Be my reminder here that I am not alone in
This body, this body holding me, feeling eternal
All this pain is an illusion.

Twirling round with this familiar parable.
Spinning, weaving round each new experience.
Recognize this as a holy gift and celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing.

This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. we are eternal.
all this pain is an illusion.
