It's surely not some latin-originated european language...

Maybe arabic? Hebrew? (I doubt the latter)

Let's look and think what some of the words shouldme, if it WERE somehow european/middle east language...

yassen - flower?
tulta - your?
arya - desert? song?
tuca - your?
calina - hmm... a roman name... also propably flower/something...? some plant?
fíra - fire?
melme - my?
mi - me, to me?
er - and?
an - and?
ni - no?

The í propably stands for "short i", and indicates it might have been one of ancient languages, which use 2 types (short/long) of letters like i, a, e and such...

Hmm... I once worked on my own language, I have no idea how should this be useful, but oh well. The main purpose was to create a very intuitive language, where words actually somehow remind about words they are used for. About 75% of this language was based on latin. I still have some files about it... Let's see...

(I obviously only worked the basics, what would be point of creating a whole language no one would ever use...?)

Guer videvent fote.
Adeles astres videlent eterno.
Rote color foti blendent puer.
Vide meo oculo canos carare coda.

Which, respectively, was designed to mean...

Soldier saw the light.
Gods of the stars will live forever.
Red color of light blinded the boy.
I see with my eyes a dog which bites tail.
