but Mystic Software still isn't the most popular. It's all because Mr.G left....
You know, this reminds me of something. There was this site, that basically nobody visited, and then when I joined and made friends with the admin and became one, it was all super cool with my ideas n' stuff....but then I left...and then it...died....
Almost like what happened when G left....be....we can make good....right?
You do know what I'm talking about right?
The main reasons that the shack was so popular was because...
1) MrG ran it
2) It was updated regularly
and the big one...
3)No TKZ
If TKZ had never closed down in the first place, MrG and Mike Hill would still be working there, and the shack would've never been created. With the lack of TKZ, it was easy to fill a large void quite quickly by providing a place where files were updated regularly and easily accessed.
Obviously if TKZ had not come back online, Mystic Software would be far more popular in its current design than it actually is. We would also have been more popular if we had been efficient from the beggining. Instead, files we're rarely added to the site because I'm lazy as hell, and thus, TKZ, which has always been much more efficient, became more popular.
However, it wasn't until TKZ came back online that I really wanted the site to improve. Competition is neccesary to drive people to improve upon things. Not to mention if G had not left MS, Xorlak would not have been hired to replace him, and MS would still be in HTML format, because again, I'm super lazy, and won't take a few hours out of the week to try and learn PHP.
