Eeeeh... Cutting for pleasure of pain is perverted sick.

Cutting to get away from propblems is all right, at least if it works.

Cutters ashamed? Hmm, I don't cut myself at time, but I was never ashamed nor feeling cool with this. It's just to relieve anger. To do something unusual. To stand against the System. To say, "(Editor: Censored) all the problems, my wounds speak what I think of this all".

Dang that (Editor: Censored) thing is getting annoying. Could you just change it to @#$% or something?

I only scrach myself *it dosen't do any damage*, and that was once, and that's the only time I'll probally do that. Personally I don't think cutting myself would be a good idea, because I don't think I'd want to cause damage to myself. However if other people do it, so be it, they belive it's right thing to do, so I except it. I say if it dosn't harm YOU then let it be. Tosoto, it may not do shit for YOU, but it most likely helps these other people, so let it be.

It's not "alright" Cesque, it shows that the person has some serious problems and needs some professional help.

Professional help doesn't help anyone - at least not me.

Try living in a hospital for a year then tell me how you like professional help.

No one said your supposed to like it, and obviously it may not work for everyone, but it has worked for thousands of others. If tylonol didn't get rid of your headache, does that mean it doesn't work for everyone?

From what I understand, cutting yourself makes you feel better. Injury to your body causes your brain to release natural pain killers, like morphine but a very good deal weaker.
I'm not a cutter, I've never been depressed long enough to even bother trying it really.. I gathered this information from a friend who is seriously depressed, and a frequent cutter. He's also attempted suicide several times.
I think there's better ways to make yourself feel better (why not weed? lol. Doesn't really damage you anymore that that cut from what I understand..), There's other drugs, therapy, etc. If cutting makes you feel better, do it. Just don't bleed yourself to death. Wink

We barely remember who or what came before this precious moment,
We are choosing to be here right now. Hold on, stay inside
This holy reality, this holy experience.
Choosing to be here in

This body. This body holding me. Be my reminder here that I am not alone in
This body, this body holding me, feeling eternal
All this pain is an illusion.

Alive, I

In this holy reality, in this holy experience. Choosing to be here in

This body. This body holding me. Be my reminder here that I am not alone in
This body, this body holding me, feeling eternal
All this pain is an illusion.

Twirling round with this familiar parable.
Spinning, weaving round each new experience.
Recognize this as a holy gift and celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing.

This body holding me reminds me of my own mortality.
Embrace this moment. Remember. we are eternal.
all this pain is an illusion.

Some people just need to cut to help with their emotions. And if they need to, that's fine as long as they don't go too deep or remove an appendage.

Some people need to scream, others need to hit something... Some people need to get online and play a shooter, such as myself. A few Quake gibs usually makes me feel better.

This world really is miserable and corrupt. If people need to cut to deal with it, then let them.

Foamfighting or lifting works for me.  Video Games as a last resort.
