I liked the compromised FFIX idea. Instead of the warp into the player of FFVII and previous titles (in 3D it looked especially dodgy) and the "train" of FFVIII (boy, those characters sure are loyal!) we have the "screen-go-then-come-back-only-this-time-with-no-characters-method". It worked quite nicely.

Of course they might have done that because being as it was graphically one of the most complex games for the PS having the "train" might have been too resource hungry. I don't know.

No I don't mind, but it's your job to make it work for your game (no easy feat I must add) Wink

[edit] Quiet Cesque, you'll expose my coding weaknesses!

Yeah I did that for my game ... but fortunately I'd already at the time discontinued work on that version and to get it back all I had to do was download it off Mystic Software!

I love PHP (Good Call on Rueben's Part with the site) only my main problem with it, is that it is rather hard to find a site that will actually allow you to use it.... well a host that's free... I'm not about to shell out cash just to be hosted somewhere. -_-
There's Tripod ... ads galore but it works ... otherwise CyWeb (http://www.cywh.com) offer good cheap hosting.

Personally, I'd rather stick with HTML for Web Design.
What are you getting at? The site is HTML ... with PHP added in for good measure to make updates and alterations easier?
I mean STRAIGHT HTML. No PHP or any fancy crap other than CSS.
Heh ... if you look at my source code ... you'll see what PHP does ... it interprets what HTML to be displayed at a particular time depending on what the user has chosen, etc ... everything is all displayed on the index page, for example, with includes as the seperate pages. PHP isn't fancy at all, it just makes loife that much easier.
