I live in Canada, and I only came there about four or five years ago. So, we are not citizens yet. However, June 9th we're going to Toronto for this huge test thing we gotta take. If we pass it (which we will), we become Canada's citizens.

You know what sort of sucks, though? These fascists will make us sing O Canada (national anthem)... Stupids, I don't want to sing the damn thing! I hear it too much in school anyway!!! And now I gotta sing it! Sad

In other news, check it out: there's a new post in the protected forum. Surprised We should celebrate for the occasion.

You said you already were a citizen; you've lied to me. I feel betrayed.

But anyways since you aren't I can go back to calling you an immigrant and an invader to our country.

Everyone the commies have invaded Canada! RED ALERT! RED ALERT! CALL NATO! Laughing  Razz

DM, you see, I told you we applied for citizenship. You must've heard wrong.

Or i must've heard wrong, from my parents. Either way, that doesn't matter now.

Yeh, part of the ceremony to becoming a citizen... I bet they do that in US as well, but you wouldn't know, you were born there... Same with DM who lives in Canada as well. He was born a Canadian, so he does not know what happens when one new to Canada becomes a citizen.

Well I know a little bit, they ask you questions about Canada, and I guess then you sing the anthem. I know the Canadian National Anthem off by heart in English and French.

I also pronounce the word 'about' as "aboot", put mayonnaise on everything I eat, watch Hockey Night in Canada every time it's on, and complain whenever an American team wins, but reassure myself that many of the players are Canadian and then say, even if an American team wins, it's still our game and they can't take it away from us.

Yes. I believe I will be able to travel back and forth between Belarus and Canada without a visa.

Belarus, Russia, what's the difference now...

As for Lukashenko, I think he's an ass. He is claimed to have remade the Belorussian economy to the better, but I don't think so. I mean, what kind of president outlaws the title "president" for any other presidents - presidents of companies, clubs, etc? They are now supposed to be called "executive" or something. Only one President resides in Belarus...

Tyrant.

I am pleased with the opinion you showed. I have read that the Belarussian Anarchists are having a very tough time indeed.
