Forum Conversion
« on: February 23, 2007, 11:30:02 AM »
The forums have been converted, after a long process, to newer software based on phpBB.

Currently, we are running with phpBB 3.0b5 now.  Yes, this is beta software, and will be upgraded to final release, but it will function for now.

This conversion was brought about in an attempt to combat spam.  The new software should work fine for us.

It will be required that you request a new password to log in, as your old passwords will not function.  The ibForums used a different encoding method for their passwords than the current phpBB software.  After requesting a new password (this is an automated processs), you may feel free to change it back to whatever you want.

Also note, there will be plenty of changes occurring as I have not copied all the settings over from the old forums.

\"People who sin say this: That they had to, to survive. People who sin say this: That it\'s too late to stop. The shadow called Sin dogs them steadily without saying a word. Remorse and Agony are repeated, to finally end up at Despair. But sinners don\'t know that if they turn around, there is a light.... a light which keeps shining on them ever so warmly.\" - Vash the Stampede - Trigun

\"There\'s a heaven on earth that so few ever find, though the map\'s in your soul and the road\'s in your mind. So many mountains before us, so many rivers to cross, where is the wisdom to bring back the vision we\'ve lost? Can we gaze with the wonder of children into the deafening night? Has it gotten so dark that you cannot remember the light?\" - D. Fogelburg

1. This topic is rather dead
2. He meant spam bots. When you see a user that just registered and posted something like "Hey I was looking through your site and I found another one just like it www.tubgirl.com go there now", that's a spam bot.

By the way: I'd recommend against going to that link.

the here we are now judgment day

cross the threshold have no dread
lift the sheet back in this way.
