Should have stayed with rackhost. Look at what they've done:

<a href='http://www.rackhost.net/' target='_blank'>http://www.rackhost.net/</a>

Im currently paying $15 /month for my hosting. Big upgrade  Laughing

I could even go with their cheapest plan and get more than what I used to have lol.

Wow... 200GB of bandwidth Very Happy

Huzzah!

Dang! If I had money I'd so go for that. I'd make like the 4th Biggest TK Site, give it a cool name, and own you all!

WTF. That figures. Cyranoid, it doesn't mention anything about the number of domain names you can have on one account. It just says it costs $5-25/year for a domain name, but I already have three domains paid for. Anyways, looks like we could be moving yet again. Did you already tell Vampz about this? He probably wouldn't mind knowing.

omfg, over and over again, the deals keep getting better

I like rackhost's control panel much better, I'm getting hosting with them soon (as soon as I'm start/finish my website)

Rackhost's panel is A LOT better. If it supports 3-4 add-on domains, not pointers but add-ons, then I'll consider a move (although any move with such a large community always causes grief). I wouldn't mind upgrading from 100 to 200gb bandwidth for a slight drop in price Razz

Gotta love competitive prices.

Yeah, not only is the CPanel much better, but customer service is a thousand times faster. I thought I was waiting a long time for a responce with rackhost.net when it took a few hours, but with NetSpace I'm lucky if I get a reply in a few days, if one at all. NetSpace's actual service isn't too bad, and their prices were 2nd to none, but rackhost.net must've followed my domain transfer and saw they had some strong competition eh? Razz I'll probably sign up for an account later today at Rackhost. Another nice thing about Rackhost was their automatic billing. I hate having to remember to pay bills.

If you click on "more info" it tells you the domain pointers. (Rack III is about what i was paying, which was that special rack deal a while back).

Rack I - 1 Domain Pointer
Rack II - 5 Domain Pointers
Rack III - 10 Domain Pointers
Rack IV - 15 Domain Pointers

All of them have unlimited: FTP accounts, pop3 accounts, email forwards, databases, and subdomains.

This is just too cool Very Happy

As Vampz said, we're not looking for domain pointers. Domain pointers just point multiple domains to the same place. We're looking to host multiple domains for seperate locations, ie godivaalpha.com, rpgtoolkit.net, and mysticsoftware.net arn't the same website. Domain hosting also allows you to have email addresses, FTP accounts, and sub-domains for each hosted domain.

Um.... not acording to what they've given me ^_^. Im hosting 3 domains right now. When I go into TF admin for a domain pointer it allows me to pick where to send the domain (path). And I've just sent an email to them saying I need the domain setup on the DNS server (to host the domain name) and they've done it for me without charge.

So when they say pointers im sure they mean hosted domains Wink

Can you make sub-domains and email accounts for all three of your hosted domains? If so, then I'm definately signing up for an account. If all it does is let you pick a folder or sub-domain for the domain name to point to, that's not what we're looking for.

Yep. You can Wink. When they say "domain pointer" they mean they are hosting the domain. You directly point the domain to a folder (not to a subdomain of another domain), host it on their dns, and make email account on your domains (unlimited accounts). I am right now  B)

That is not the technical definition for domain pointer however. But if you say it's working, then I don't think there's anything stopping me from signing up.

Then watch multispace see that you have moved and put their prices down, hehe, silly companies in competition Smile

I'm glad I waited on starting hosting, I was considering starting with multispace until I saw this.  I want to try to make my website by spring next year.
