To whom it may concern:

I tried to download the TK Land Demo. Unfortunatly, the installer encountered an error at the  57% completed  point. It said that it could not find "test.mp3" and the installer did not complete the installation. I went and found the "IDS" folder where the installed files were sent and the programs, main, and tiles folders were missing. I went back to mystic software to try downloading again, and when i hit "save" on the download question pop-up, it downloaded in only 2 seconds, way too fast for dial-up. Keep in mind i deleted all the corrupted files from earlier. When i ran that installer, it behaved identically to the last time I used it. I went and deleted the corrupted files. I repeated this a third time, only afterwards i used the UNINSTALL program. The uninstall encountered an error and did not work. So i deleted the files AGAIN. I logged off of the internet and tried again. I yet again experienced the same problems.

So far, I have been trying this for the last 3 hours. My first download attempt was around 5:45 PM 2.26.2005 central time zone USA. It is now 9:08 PM 2.26.2005 central time zone USA.

I would like to know if the problem I am experiencing is originating from my computer/and or internet connection/browser(i have AOL, the AOL Browser, and I am running Windows XP.

If my machine/connection is not to blame, Could you please fix the problem and notify me when it is resolved?

I downloaded and installed the file without errors, so most likely the problem was that the download timed out while you were downloading or something, and only partially downloaded the file. In total, the file should be 8,782,487 bytes in size. The file acted as if it downloaded in 2 seconds because your browser merely pulled it out of your temporary internet files. You need to clear your temporary internet files before downloading it again. Normally this is done by going to Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Internet Options; and then clicking the "Delete Files" button in the Temporary Internet Files section of the window. It may be different if your using the AOL browser.
