Will somebody please list a few good C++ textbooks that aren't too expensive? I would greatly appreciate it.

Alright, I guess I could spend an hour walking to the library. Of course, I'd have to get a card and stuff. (f****** procedures...)

Well.... at least at my school...

Our standard is five books over your topic and no internet/magazine/television sources.

Usually, I have to actually resort to driving down to the library, and looking. Sad

Heh. For research papers and such, I use WorldBookOnline a lot, as well as a few other online Encyclopedia sources, and if necessary, HistoryChannel.com

No, I mean the public library. The only time I think about visiting is when I'm driving home and I got frozen stuff... Sad

k...1. Programming with C++(Second Edition), Author:John R. Hubbard
2. Teach Yourself C++(Sixth Edition), Author: Al Stevens

There the ones I got from my local library...they are both descent books so I'd advice you to go to a library and hire them out rather than buying them Very Happy

Better yet, I'll just wait 'till next year to take Comp Sci. 2 (C++ Programming) in high school, although I did want to have some SERIOUS knowledge about C++ ahead of time so that my final project could be something SERIOUSLY cool, like a full-blown RPG in C++. Hell, if I pull that off, and have everything COMPLETELY original, I would have the right to sell it  Very Happy

But I can't even make a VB RPG Sad
