Just wondering what would you like to have in the next Toolkit. I know it won't probably happen, but just put in some ideas. Anything could happen!

I would like a Background music editer within it so I can make original music in it.
Also a bulit-in program for jumping or climbing for platform rpgs.
Hopefully TK3.0.7 will have a day/night system like tk2. Even better would be adding twilight or rainy day in the mix. ^_^

WHy have it built in when you could code it yourself and have it run more efficiently? Seriously, the features built in to TK3 aren't hte best; you have to code your own in RPGCode or make plugins. Don't be lazy.

And about original music, try <a href='http://www.anvilstudio.com' target='_blank'>http://www.anvilstudio.com</a>

Mark the dragon. So, your saying that there's no improvements that should be made for furture TK instalments? Are you saying, because I'M LAZY, doesn't give the right to have add material for easy RPG creations? All I was asking is your imput of what COULD happen. TK3 has more capablity than TK2. Is it so wrong? And sure, there's still some bugs to be dealt with. However, fact is, my question only asked "What would you like to have in the next Toolkit". And I'm sorry that I just so happen to be new to TK.

P.S. Thanks for the link for original music. ^_^

I'm pretty sure MotD meant that people should learn how to code systems themselves instead of using pre-made ones that are just given to them to use. That's laziness.

I'm pretty sure.

That's exactly what I meant.

Also..pre-made systems can't generally be customized at all. Look at message windows, for example. Sure, you could use the default MWin, but it's not as cool as hard-coding your own with unique features (profile images, flashign colors, word-by-word...emotions...! ill make a note of that one ^_^ )

But to be honest...there are things I want to see. I want to see better multi-tasking for hte purpose of Real Time battle systems, as well as Auto-Tiling in the board editor.

A database system like in RPGMaker would be nice too. That's teh ONLY thing I like about RPGMaker, guys..just so u kno. The engine is crap. But the database is nice.

I would also like for everything to be more stable. TK3 still crashes on me quite often, and the animation editor doesn't show me everything i want to see. And when I put a character on-screen, it doesn't match the animation speed.

Hmmm, let's see. On-line multiplay features, and better multi-tasking. Probably TK4 will get converted to 3D or something.

That would be cool. What I would REALLY like to see, though, is a pre-made template for sprites and stuff...more like several templates for different styles *cough*resources dept get working!*cough*

Why are we talking about TK4? That's REALLY far off.

A real-time battle system is already possible. It would run slow as hell, but it's still possible. Here's to hoping for a dramatic speed increase if TK3.0.7 ever comes out.

Yeah you're right. I think I've seen\tried to make several real-time battle systems. The best one I've seen so far was Sophia's in Rudoph's Adventure.

But yes, TK4 is probably only going to happen once Xorlak releases a demo before the final release of one of his games and earlesshare becomes a moderator on Toolkit Zone, but it's still an interesting subject.
