me = dahawkster 92
him = gamecharmer

gamecharmer: I wanted to do something that I know I could never do
gamecharmer: that's where I went wrong
gamecharmer: I tried to hard
dahawkster92: how do you think I feel? i'm trying to make a <omitted to keep my plans for my game a secret>
gamecharmer: oh yea?
dahawkster92: yeah
gamecharmer: I can't even make a game
gamecharmer: not even a general structure
dahawkster92: sux for you
gamecharmer: no plot
gamecharmer: nothing
gamecharmer: my life is a huge (Editor: Censored)ing lie
gamecharmer: and it has taken me this long to realize it
dahawkster92: gcharmer, chill
dahawkster92: true, maybe you're not meant to design video games
gamecharmer: no
gamecharmer: not just that
gamecharmer: everything
gamecharmer: everything I've done
dahawkster92: you'll find something
gamecharmer: everything i've tried
gamecharmer: it's all shit
gamecharmer: that's it
gamecharmer: I can't take it
dahawkster92: what have you tried?
gamecharmer: a ton of shit
gamecharmer: and nothing's worked
dahawkster92: have you tried playing an instrument?
gamecharmer: yes
dahawkster92: learn to play the drums or something
gamecharmer: I'm a (Editor: Censored)ing percussionist in band
gamecharmer: I do
gamecharmer: I can't play worth shit
dahawkster92: do you have your own set of drums?
gamecharmer: no
dahawkster92: get your own set, and learn to play
gamecharmer: I had one
gamecharmer: sold it
gamecharmer: I can't do it
gamecharmer: spent to much time on iut
dahawkster92: well...you could always just end up as a janitor
dahawkster92: i know you don't want that
gamecharmer: or I could end up (Editor: Censored)ing dead
gamecharmer: I know it's a cowards way out
gamecharmer: but I'm desperate
dahawkster92: quit being such a pessimist
gamecharmer: no
gamecharmer: I am a (Editor: Censored)ing nothing
gamecharmer: I can't take crying every day like I do
dahawkster92: look, there are times where I want to cry, but I don't, and it's ruined a lot of things for me. it's healthy to cry
gamecharmer: not the way I do
dahawkster92: there's gotta be something you're good at
gamecharmer: no
dahawkster92: try writing poetry
gamecharmer: can't
gamecharmer: I've tried
dahawkster92: it's what I did when I thought my life was a "big (Editor: Censored)ing lie"
dahawkster92: and I always thought I couldn't write poetry
dahawkster92: but when I really stopped thinking about it so much, it became easy
dahawkster92: two of my poems were selected for publishing in the National Library of Poetry's Summer 2003 anthology
dahawkster92: "Eternal Portraits", I think it was called
dahawkster92: just try it and don't think about it so much
gamecharmer: I cannot stop
dahawkster92: look, I always thought that I couldn't write a good story if my life depended on it
dahawkster92: but now writing seems almost natural to me
gamecharmer: that's you
dahawkster92: I'm half tempted to drop out of RPG Development and just writing stories and maybe becoming a world renowned fantasy author
gamecharmer: u do that
dahawkster92: when you stop thinking about how you can't do something, then it becomes so much easier
gamecharmer: I tried that
gamecharmer: then I got worseat it
gamecharmer: so I gave up that idea
dahawkster92: you're thinking too much
gamecharmer: goodbye
dahawkster92: hold on
dahawkster92: don't go to the extremes
dahawkster92: it's not worth it
dahawkster92: i was in your position once, where i thought death was the only way out
dahawkster92: i'm glad i didn't choose death. I tried at something. Sure, I wasn't good at first, but I kept working at it, until I got better. Talent doesn't just appear. You have to work for it
gamecharmer: I know there is more than that
gamecharmer: Pain is my specialty
dahawkster92: look, what do you want to get out of life?
dahawkster92: what do you really want to do?
gamecharmer: what do I want to do?
gamecharmer: I want to do nothing
dahawkster92: *sigh*
dahawkster92: come on, I know you have a dream
dahawkster92: everybody does
gamecharmer: my dreams have been shattered
dahawkster92: don't devote all your time and energy feeling sorry for yourself
gamecharmer: my world turned upside down
gamecharmer: I don't feel sorry
dahawkster92: use your time and energy to do your dream
dahawkster92: sure, they may SEEM shattered, but they're not
dahawkster92: ok?
gamecharmer: nope
gamecharmer: I'm pretty damn sure they are
gamecharmer: they were all based on this lie
gamecharmer: then I found out that is was all a lie
dahawkster92: maybe those dreams weren't even yours
dahawkster92: you good at sports?
gamecharmer: nope
gamecharmer: can't do shit
dahawkster92: look, everybody's good at something
dahawkster92: do you want to end up as a factory worker?
dahawkster92: i don't think so
dahawkster92: pick up a skill somewhere
dahawkster92: i know that you are good at something
dahawkster92: you are just too upset to realize it
gamecharmer: one of my dreams
gamecharmer: was to work on computers
dahawkster92: that's good
dahawkster92: when you get into high school, take software applications 1, computer science 1, and hardware and operating systems
gamecharmer: I am in high school
gamecharmer: I'm a sophmore
dahawkster92: ok
dahawkster92: did you take software apps 1?
gamecharmer: we don't have that class
dahawkster92: oh
dahawkster92: do you know how to use microsoft Excel?
gamecharmer: we have shit for classes here
gamecharmer: yes
gamecharmer: Excel is easy
dahawkster92: 'cause people who enter data into spreadsheets can make a lot of money
gamecharmer: I make (Editor: Censored)ing computer viruses
dahawkster92: lol
gamecharmer: I accidentally wiped out a friend's memory
dahawkster92: there, you're good at something
gamecharmer: but it's illegal
dahawkster92: take the knowledge from making computer viruses and use it to make legal computer applications
gamecharmer: I don't know how to though
gamecharmer: I can only make them worth the shit
dahawkster92: you'll learn
gamecharmer: I have noone to teach
gamecharmer: I love school
gamecharmer: it makes me free
dahawkster92: well, are your grades good?
gamecharmer: yes, all A's
dahawkster92: go to college, become a teacher if you love school
gamecharmer: no
gamecharmer: I love it because it makes me free
gamecharmer: free from my life
gamecharmer: I don't need friends to study
gamecharmer: that's what's messed up
gamecharmer: my only fear
gamecharmer: is isolation
dahawkster92: well, are you good at singing? if so, then you can meet a few people and become a vocalist in a punk rock band or something
gamecharmer: my voice sux
gamecharmer: it's sad soundin
dahawkster92: hmm...
dahawkster92: well, you COULD try acting
gamecharmer: tried
dahawkster92: and work a LITTLE bit on the voice
gamecharmer: I can't remember shit
gamecharmer: this is how I sound, cannot change it
dahawkster92: trust me, i used to have HORRIBLE acting skills, but I've gotten A LOT better through practice
dahawkster92: even though acting isn't on my list of dreams
gamecharmer: I am sorry
gamecharmer: I should have never tried

Whoa!!

That is some really messed up crap right there.

umm.... well I can tell you that he is obviously entered into a stage four level depression. Usually about this time, you need to see a doctor.

As for suggestions to help him, umm... how about drawing..
It helped me through a lot of painful times in my life, if he says he can't do it, then he is a liar. The first thing I drew, was a bloody knife Razz, it was crappy looking, but it helped to get some of that anger and loneliness out of me.

As for his fear of isolation, he umm.... well..... I uh...... that's a serious medical problem, I think that the doctor would be very helpful with that one.

Oh... poor fellow... i just wish i could help him Sad. But i don't know really, cause i usually end up thinking the same way... almost everything i try goes down the drain...

The only thing i can do from here is tell him that it isn't that way. I suck at most things, until i found the TK (which i now remember having contact with 2001, although i didn't recognise it until a few months ago) and MZX, i thought that i was shit. But, you know, some people learn hard, but they usually end up better than those who learn easy, cause many (not all) thinks that you don't have to work to get better, and once they try something they have a hard time with, they stop. But keep fighting... you WILL find something you're good at, or at least enjoy! I ain't the best game maker, nor drawer in the world (i'm a joke when it comes to drawing Razz), but i train, and i now think that i'm OK now, and i enjoy it!... you will also end up good with training! Don't think of it as hard, think that it is easy, and keep training.

I don't know if it helps much, but i hope i helped at least a little.

You know what, I've decided to give up on this guy. He's gothic now. His stepdad has hit him a few times, and I think that has permanently messed him up.

Interesting, isn't it?  Mabey, cause my entire computer is turning into one giant virus.  I donno though.  My computer is extremely difficult to hack now, since I installed myown virus.  Normal viruses effect specific files in your windows or system foldders.  well, those viruses cannot detect those files, because my virus has modified them.  It's so cool.  And if anyone else gets my virus, it will give me unlimited controll over it.  I can open CD-trays and make your computer play music on the PC Speaker.  Well, this is kinda wierd about the 0 posts.  Laterz.

A large number of ways.  If I enable the Internet Manipulation function, it will encrypt itself into every browser you have, including My Computer.  It can take Mozilla, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Kazaa, Win MX, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and a few other varieties.  Once that's done, I'll send out some dumb letter to everyone on my list.  The attachment won't even show up!  The installer goes along with it.  From there, it will slowly download the virus from one of my many host sites.  Then it passes teh installer along once those people send an e-mail.  I open my Client and wait.  Once one is fully downloaded into a person't computer, it will infect every last file in the Windows folder.  Then it sends a signal back to a different host site, which my client has FTP access to.  From here, It wil pick up your IP address and let me mess with your computer.  Simple, eh?
