What's up the Yahoo and Google bots? Are they like anti-spam bots or something? They don't seem to be doing much except visiting topics. I actually just say the Yahoo one "reading" DAL.

So what's the deal with them?

Yeah, Yahoo really likes DAL.  I see them there all the time.  (Heh...)

Search engine bots crawl and index the web all the time.  This forum software is just built to recognize them and distinguish them as different from a normal "guest".
