One pixel on the map corresponds to one board tile. I use the player position coordinates on the board, add values based on which board the player is on, and use the result to put the location icon on the map.

What I have planned is to use a compass-like system instead...and have an extra arrow point to the nearest town, and a red arrow point to the next objective. It will take forever to make, i know Sad

You move to the sid and eventually you move on the board, instead of the board moving behind you, and you reach the edge and you are on another board, they are big boards though...
