Hmm, it all began yersterday. With minicars. I've checked and there were 3 boards, while the game used one. I wanted to check, so I put minicars files into my tk directory and opened it as a project. I've checked and the "start" board was just full of grass, the default board tk adds to game. Cool. I've deleted minicars into oblivion.
Then I opened my game and - hmm, "demo.gam is not a proper file" (I've copied my game files into "demo" directory to prevent a runtime-program-bug, heh...) etc. Wow, my computer propably gets some new bugs, I'll check tommorow, I said.
I checked now, and the same bug appears. "That's no problem", I've said, and made a new demo main file. Then I launch the game and - bah. Player file is not a right program. Board file is not a right program.
I've opened some other game tried to open files from it. And, what I see?
Main game file is not a proper file.
Player files are not proper files.
Board files are not proper files.
Programs and tiles work, by some wonder. But making those damn boards and setting everything up was a damn hard work!!!
Now, what the hell I am supposed to do? Is there any way to get the files back or should I make the game anew and copy files from some older backup copies?
And it's all thanks to MINICARS, as I see, if I'll ever get my hands on the guy who made them I'm gonna rip apart a few of his body parts.
(there is also some propability it's the sound patch, but I've installed it, and everything worked, I even put up some effects in game like rain sound in the intro, thunder as Grand Teacher finishes his speech, thunder as the game is launched, and fireworks and mortal kombat music from the game "choose your fighter" as player enters class-choice-board)
