How would I set up an animated banner for my site? I've read about it in a tutorial, but I dont get it, it seemed to different than setting a normal image, but when I tried to use it, it didnt work...

You set it up the same as a regular image. The most common animated format is .gif, and some people use Flash as well, though that's a little more difficult. If you have an animated .gif, just use the normal 'img src' tag, and it will work. If you have a Flash animated banner, you'll have to talk to someone like Matt72186 or Mike Hill about it, as I don't know anything about Flash.

holy God! i just found out you can make functions in javascript!! now all i have to do is change one side bar!! (and with out CSS!!) praise the Lord!!

i found out that you could make funtions in JS, so i thought i could start a function, then change it back to html, and then put in the navigational bar's coding, and then switch back and finish the function, and use that to upload the bar easily....but now i have found out how to do that in HTML thanks to Xorlak!!  Very Happy

yeah, unfortyunately there is something rong....with it impoted, if you click on a link, it will put the new window in the navigational bar...any insight Xorlak?

How about you use Flash MX to make animated buttons and stuff. I can make it .swf or .html. It won't take too much effort, and I'm pretty neat with Flash MX.
