[Zeros']

Zeros' unsheathed the Masamune again, leaving it whole. He vanished from sight and reappeared directly behind them. Zeros' looked at the monsters and smiled. He cocked back his arm again and slashed in an upwards arc, using his ki to obliterate the last 3 monsters. He twirled his sword and smirked to Haraldur.

What now?

[Haraldur]

Now, we find the weapon, it is around here somewhere. You would probably have the best idea what we are looking for. All the other creatures will not be returning here anytime soon. This Haraldur told Zeros' telepathically.

[Zeros']

Zeros' looked around briefly in all directions. Trying to sense where the weapon went. Zeros' dropped to the seafloor and started walking towards the northeast.

Above the sea, Kami-ryu took a deep breath before jumping into the ocean and swimming in the same direction Zeros' went.

[Xorlak]

Lars lead the small group to a river, with a forest on the opposite side. The trees were visibly more twisted and decayed than those previously passed, and the forest and even sky was darker...

"Beyond this river is the beginning of the land that was once of the Dark Empire. A month ago, this border would have been heavily patrolled."

He crouched to the ground and sprang up, performing a massive bound over the 20 foot wide murky river, landing on the other side. He turned and looked back over the river, waiting for Frost, Bite, and Armic to cross.

On the northern horizon, past the forest, a dark fortress loomed...

[Haraldur]

Haraldur followed Zeros'.

[Cesque]

"Oh cool, you guys, the way's clear." - said Cheetah cheerfully (altough it sounded a bit more like roar due to his form change), then dived, following Zeros.

Kismet looked at Armic and the prophet departing.

"Oh well." - he told himself. - "Better not anger them now."

[Haraldur]

"My head aches..." said Ellenna, clutching her head.

[Cyber Wolf]

Armic stared at the disgusting river, and knew he couldn't make the jump.

He raised his head, and looked at the land next to Lars, and focused upon it.

After a few seconds of staring at the patch of dirt, Armics body faded away, feetfirst, leading up to his head. You could see the particles of his body flying through the air, as pure energy. The energy gathered next to Lars and reassmilated, forming an Armic.

Nevina was now completely out of the Fog, and she turned around, facing it. It was starting to clear out, and she could actually see into the cloud a small way.

[Dude Man]

//Yikes, sorry for being away, Aww, I missed out on all the action  Sad , oh well, I'll improvise why he was gone//

When the monsters arive, one of them smacked him and he started to barrle roll away...

He gained control again, and shook his head a few times, he then starts to follow Zeros' and Haradular.

[Xorlak]

(Shall I just assume Frost and Bite are following us?  Heh, don't worry, things are going to get interesting for the Lars group in just a few posts...)

The cloaked man continued into the depths of the twisted dark forest, walking this time.  It was just a short while until they arrived on the other side.  Before them lied an open field with tall yellow grass.  A winding path lead up a shallow hill.  At the very top was the fortress known as Redvik.  It was a bleak building, with tall brown walls encasing a small outer town.  At each corner there was a guard tower.

Lars lead the group up the dirt path, straight up to the closed metal gate of the outer wall.  The doors were much bigger up close, possibly 40 or 50 feet high.  The clocked man banged on the doors with his fist.

The response was quick, since they were easily spotted from afar in the open field.  The door creaked open slightly, and a soldier peered out, still in the old battle armor of the Dark Empire.

"What'd ya want?"

Lars responded eloquently, "We are mere travelers seeking to rest for the night.  We were wondering if you could accommodate us?"

"King Wallace doesn't want any foreigners in his city.  Get lost!"

"King? ... I insist you reconsider.  You see, we bring gifts..."

"Huh? ...  Hold on.  I'll go check."

The door slammed shut.

Lars folded his arms and leaned against the door, a smirk emerging from under his hood as he turned to his group.

"We'll progress as far as we can quietly.  I doubt that will be very far, however...  Hmm, I never did catch your names, did I?"

[Zeros']

Zeros' stops his stroll underwater and looks around curiously. He looks behind and notices Cheetah, Kami-ryu, Haraldur and Duilin still behind him.

It's here. Zeros' points to the ground while sending a message to Haraldur. Zeros' slams his palm into the ground, shaking the ground violently. After a few moments, the ground collapses to reveal a pair of ornate covered doors surrounded by an invisible bubble. Zeros' walks down the stairs and into the bubble, which surprisingly allows them to breath.

The stairs descend at least 20 feet into the ground, lined by torches where the door sits, decorated in the purest gold, gemmed with sapphires, emerals and rubies along the sides.

Near the right of the left door, theres is a depiction of a man in a cloak, surrounded by six weapons (Guess what they are?), holding a ball of darkness above his head. Behind him, there is a great mechanical machine ready to strike at any moment. Above him, the draken form of Jayce floats while Xenia is below him, looking towards the right door.

Near the left of the right door, there is a depiction of a image that looks like Zeros' holding out his sword, split in both forms, with two wings extended. Above him, Haraldur from one month ago is hovering above him and towards the ground, Tsu is looking at the machine with his sword.

Along he edge of the left door, each other warrior that formerly worked for the Dark Empire stands there ready with there weapons or magic at ready. While along the edge of the right door, everyone that fought against the Dark Empire, weither on Romme's side or not, stands everyone else with there magic, weapons or transformations at ready.

Zeros' looks at this and laughs.

Kami-ryu sees this and goes up for air before returning downwards and swimming towards the stairs that appeared.

//The reason Zeros', Retan, Xenia, Tsu, Haraldur and Jayce are explained are because if I remember correctly, they were the main ones in the last parts of Chapter 3's last battle.\\

[Haraldur]

//In fact, two parts of Haraldur were there: the younger Haraldur and Ragnar.//

Haraldur looked at the pictures with amused interest, before carrying on.

[Trent]

//That's "Xenai", not "Xenia." No biggie, though. Jus' type it right next time.

Xenai turned around and looked at the hole in the cloud. "Come to think of it, it's about time I should reprogram the Zero Weapon... It was supposed to work only for the Dark Empire, and the Dark Empire is now gone. Which means it is now hostile to everything."

Tsu gulped. "We're going to actually go FIND that thing?"

"Yep, we are," said Xenai, "and we're gonna fight it too, 'less you aint got the balls." Xenai jumped through the hole and took off toward where his gut feeling said the Zero Weapon was. Zion jumped out and followed a foot or two behind, and Tsu would hesitantly bring up the rear.

[Dude Man]

Duilin walks down the stairs and the looks at Haradular and Zeros'.

"What's going on?" He asks, he then spots the pictures.

"Whoa, I wonder who did those. They didn't really capture my hair right, and the yellow in my eyes are abit to bright." He laughs

I wonder if they'll have more pictures like this. For some reason I want to find more about Nex

[Cesque]

Cheetah follows Zeros, and amazingly suddenly realises he has trouble moving on land in his water drake form.

"Oh well." - he thought and turned into humans, catching a deep breath of air.

"What the heck...?" - he asks himself, looking at the depiction.
