//It's Xenai. ai. Not ia. Heh.

Yes... But Draven... if you can manipulate dark energy, I'll need you to be ready to come at a moment's notice. The trio flew in close and followed.

Draven didn't say a word.  He continued floating in the fixed position he had been, arms folded, as Haraldur bowed.  He merely looked down upon him...

At that moment the red dragon burst forth from the dried cave in full flight.  Finally out of the darkness, the magnitude of the majestic beast could be seen at last.  He was some 100 feet from head to tail, with a wing span approaching 200 feet.  Draven was somewhat taken by surprise by the dragon and the familiar intense fire elemental aura that it exuded...  The dragon returned the glance as it flew by, watching Draven for a few seconds before arcing around and swooping above Haraldur.

"Crimson... Dragon..."

The dragon swooped over Haraldur's head, and began flying north.

"I will take you near where I believe the incident happened.  I cannot guarantee anything, though.  A world likely changes much in three thousand years..."

 Runaway with my hope...
If I could make you mine...I\'ll go whereever you will go.\"

\"So lately, I\'ve been wondering...
Who will be there to take my place...
When I\'m gone, You\'ll need love...To light the shadows on your face.\"

\"If a great wave should fall...
 It would fall upon us...
Well I hope there\'s someone out there...Who can bring me back to you.\"

\"Way up high or down low...I\'ll go wherever you will go.\"

\"Runaway with my love.\"

In your heart and mind, I\'ll stay with you all of time...

Haraldur followed the dragon and said to Draven, "You might like to come, if you would wish to know anything about your former master, but I guarantee nothing."

The entire trio was shocked by the dragon, Tsu so much that he nearly dropped Ellena.

"Ho, shit! Damn, that's big!" Xenai voiced his surprise, of course, in the most expletive way possible.

What could this fool possibly want with Alpha Retan, now?  Is he looking to absorb more dark spirits?

Draven trailed behind, but flying higher than the rest.  Clenching his fists, he contacted Zeros' telepathically again:

"I've had just about enough of this.  The very existence of him after what we've been through is but a mockery to each and every one of us..."

----

Far enough away from the cave, the sea thrashed against the invisible wall holding it back.  The huge dragon flew over the water, gracefully increasing its speed.

The ship had reached the end of the water. Below them, dead whales and fish and dolphins littered the now dry seabed. When the sea came back, it would be scavenger heaven. Then the invisible barrier disappeared, as Haraldur stopped the spell. The seas spilled inwards, pulling the little ship downwards and forwards before eventually arising to the top of the whirlpoll that had formed as the sea rushed in. The waves were huge.

The Great phophet shouted, "Shit!" as they were falling.

_____________________________________________________________

Haraldur telepathed to Draven and Zeros': Indeed, Draven. What you have been through. You do not know the meaning of the phrase Draven. Zeros' might, but you do not. Even if you spend the rest of your life in utter torture, it will not compare to how I have suffered. This would be further lessened by the fact your life would be very short. So you talking about what you have been through in reference to me is quite pathetic to me. As far as I know, you have only died once, and then, you might not have died. Look on the bright side of your life, Draven, after all, if you defeat Zeros' and the others after this, if you have the ability, the competance, which currently impresses me little, then you will be the emporer of the only remaining continent on this planet.

The Great Prophet said, "Of course there is a whirlpool. The sea has rushed inwards and is swirling around."

The whirlpool was no diminishing, and now became just part of a mass of sea that was hugely agitated, with 20 metre waves.

"Well I'm glad that's over.." Rink sighed in relief. "Now we just have to deal with extremely large waves. What fun."

Draven stopped completely, and folded his arms.

"So, you can intercept telepathic signals.  I didn't think you would be stupid enough to think you could trick even those fools who blindly followed you from the beginning, let alone me, who was your enemy even from the start."

He brought his arms to his side, a crimson orb surrounding the man...

"Oooo... you're suffering... gonna cry?  Here, let me make it better..."

Several hundred orbs of flame emanated from the man in all directions as his aura of flame increased dramatically.  Fiery masses crashed into the ocean below, adding to the turbulent waves.  His voice echoed across the skies:

"I care not of your suffering, your personalites, whatever this light is, or the babblings of a senile old man!  Your antics have gone on long enough, Ragnar! I shall snap your life like a twig!!"

----

The dragon turned around to look at the trailing madman just in time to bat away a stray fireball with his right claw.

"What is this?"

Haraldur moved his arm upwards, causing a portion of the sea of a few hundred cubic metres, to rise up, engulf some fireballs that were going towards it. The fireballs had little effect, only evaporating a little of the vast mass of water moving upwards.

He said, "You have chosen the wrong place to attack me Draven. And you might care about my parts soon Draven."

He turned to the dragon. "This is a fire mage," he said, "Whose name is Draven, the one I told you invaded Romme, where your cave was." He turned to Draven again. "The one too incompetant to secure the last part of me Retan needed, and so brought Retan here, and so indirectly caused you to be buried for a month.

He split onto his ten parts, who then changed their forms. Each of them had the same aura, the aura that Haraldur had before he merged with the weapons, the dark one of many dark shades. It engulfed them all in a haze, and amount of red in the aura was increasing, until it seemed purely of red and black. They surrounded Draven, and in the middle of the circle, where Draven was very close to, a ball of pure destructive energy formed. They then started to move so Draven would be in the middle of the circle.

"Aw, crap..." Zion watched Haraldur charge Draven. "What the crap do we do?" Zion looked to Zeros', welcoming suggestions.

"Guys! Stop it!" Duilin yelled "We don't have time for this!"

He began, to move toward the two...
