It's more...who has it.  Spyder, Walker, me, and several others already have it, granted for PC, but still.

I may get the PS2 version soon though....Spyder, then I'll likely spend more time playing.

I'm working on it man =(. Had a lot happen this weekend...mainly one of my best friends having his wife tell him she wants a divorce....litterally out of nowhere..., and that she hasn't loved him for the last two years....

Anyways, to add to MJH's list, Disrupter and kaptan have it as well. Mandy over at the TKZ forums just got it also. I offered to give her the World Pass number as well, once I buy it.

actually, i have $65 comin my way due to money lending.....and i've got $30 on me now, then a $103 paycheck.

of course I need to get the network adapter.  and whether to invest in a normal keyboard, or to get the PS2 controller with keyboard built in....probably the former, but even then, I already have a USB board then.

If you already have it for PC, why would you get it for PS2? Is there any difference, headset support perhaps?

I may get it for PS2 because it's the only way as of now to get the HD, and the new Socom II updates look damn sexy.

There is no difference as far as I know other than you can't run it in as high of resolution as on the PC....which is why I really don't see the point in getting it. I think he's getting it more for the HDD, like yourself though.

And Mike, it's not that I didn't believe you would be getting the PS2 version, it's the part about you playing more =D. Why not play it on your PC?

lol, don't worry man, I got it. Didn't take long at all. PMing you now

Mike, why is a TV more appealing? It doesn't look nearly as good as a monitor.

Larger screen, 'specially when we've a 40" TV.

Hmm....perhaps it would be wise to invest in some long lan cable.....

CRT no less....not a projection, that fades and suffers from burn-in, a classic CRT with bright, vivid color, and 40" sw33tn3ss.

Ah. I have a 20" monitor, so it's not bad. A friend of mine might move in with me in a couple months, and he has a 55" HDTV. Problem is that it costs like $30 for the DVI-to-DVI cord to hook it up (at least it does at the store...haven't checked online yet). I could use RCA or S-Video...but it wouldn't look nearly as nice.

if we had a jack for this phone line downstairs, it'd all be wonderful.

well, s-video is better than RCA.

It's amusing though, I actually have to use a DVI-to-VGA converter on my vid card because my monitor doesn't always resync properly on VGA.  I think it can be either the monitor or the card that's doin it....why...I don't know....

BTW, Win2k3 is 90% WinXP with extra server software.
