Yep, finally back from a week long vacation. I would've been back yesterday had my computer not taking a beating on the flight back. The hard drives, being attached to the aluminum case with only one screw  decided to fall off on the way back to Phoenix. My case was a bit bent up too where the hard drives had been sitting. Thankfully none of the other components seemed damaged, except that when I tried to boot my computer, it would turn on, but wouldn't POST (not the same thing as posting on the forum mind you). Dispite trying everything I could think of, including removing everything in the case other than the motherboard, processor, and power supply, it still wouldn't POST. So I went out and bought a new motherboard and processor (since that's actually cheaper than just buying a motherboard) and when I went to take the old motherboard out, it wouldn't move. Apparently when I put a PCI slot cover back on the case at my parents house, I had jammed it onto one of the circuits on the motherboard, causing a short. Sure enough, after removing the slot cover, the computer booted fine, so here I am.
Do I realize you didn't need to know all that? Yes. But I had to talk about something. I'll post some pics of my vacation later.
So anyways, what's new?
