Ok, I'm sure all of you know this this community has gone to hell, and that apparently no one's going to bother visiting here anymore other than the staff. So, those of you that are remaining, please read the forum rules located at the top of these forums and memorize them well, because they will now be strictly enforced. I also ask that you please keep any kind of arguments to PM's and email only. As far as swearing goes, I've let almost all of it slide up until this point, but unfortunately my leniancy has been abused far to much as of late, and I'm asking all of you to try and refrain from swearing as much as possible. Since flaming will not be tolerated, this shouldn't be too hard to do. I've already asked the staff to come up with any additional rules or modifications of rules; but I'd like to get any input from the community as well, so if you have anything you'd like to add, or if you don't completely agree with one of the rules that have already been implemented, please either PM me, or reply to this thread. Thank you.

I thought the first thing people do when they come to a forum is read the rules... at least I do.

Here's my suggestion as stupid as it is:

Take down the forums; they're lowering people's perspective of the site for sure. Add commenting and user accounts the main site.

I see this site doing very well as a resource site - or even just a TK games site.

I doubt they'll take the forums down, but I expect now that Matt has come back that things like user integration and commenting is only a few weeks, if not less, around the corner.

But I agree, these forums have let themselves slip. I think Spyder went for the "come here, we're laid back" approach too much to build a small community and it's backfiring.

Still - improvement is on the cards so all is good.

Hmm. Removing the forums from the main list might be a good idea. They could still be active, but hidden from the index. Integrating the user system into the main site has definately been on our minds. Xorlak has been looking into it, and hopefully the other two PHP programmers (Matt and Mike) can help out as well. By commenting, do you mean on the files?

Thanks man, I appreciate your support. We will continue to be a fully featured resource site, as it has proven even lately to be useful as one.

This is unfortunately exactly the case. I'm hoping that people will easily adjust to the rules being enforced however, and that things will go back to running relatively smoothly around these forums again.
