With loads of free time and boredom I decided to go on a web host hunt.  I compiled a list of 4 web hosts that consistantly appeared in top lists and did research on them.  I compared services and user reviews and quite simply here is what I got...

[[Globat]]
PRO: Cheap
CON: downtime, bad customer service

[[Netspace Internet]]
PRO: Cheap, good customer service, not much downtime
CON: didn't really find any other than typical downtime issues...

[[PowWeb]]
PRO: Cheap
CON: downtime, bad customer service, unprofessional

[[Lunarpages]]
PRO: Cheap, good customer service
CON: This one seemed good too, they had some down time, but it was rare and only lasted for less than an hour about 3 times in the year.

MS has used rackhost.net, and we're considering using Netspace....... Xavier is a douchebag

Can you compile a list of the top 5 FREE hosts, though?

It's sort of MS related, in that we're always looking for a new host Smile

LUNARPAGES!  I done said it in another post, but I gotta advocate for them once again, just because I am a loyal person thingy I guess.  Kinda like I tell everyone about the TK, and how much it can do, and about MS, and how much it goes along with the TK, and how loveable the community is!
