I think everybody who visits here has experienced the recent 2 day downtime. What was going on exactly?

Beats me. It was about a day and a half at most. I couldn't go on at all day yesterday.

It's nice that everyone noticed, rather then just me.

Spy forgot the domain was being paid for with a credit card he no longer has, from my understanding through MHill.

Not entirely accurate, but close.  MS is not set to Auto-Renew, and will remain as such.  It was time to renew this past month, but, Spy forgot about it, until it happened.  He went away for a few days, and as such, could not update and pay for it.  In his stead, I have made the temporary payment to keep the site up.

M.J. Hill out of nowhere with the save!

Seriously though, if you and/or Spyder want to forward me the domain registration info, I wouldn't mind making future payments incase this happens again.  I mean, I leach MS' resources more than anyone else.  (Heh...)

Yeah, also maybe we need a back up place for DAL in case the site does die. So you know, we can just move the topic to another forum or something.

I wonder if DAL has been the longest running RP in the TK Community, what other ones have lasted this long?

Oh and, uh for the Hosted Sites thing it's um, back to the way it was before. I liked it better with the links.

Heh, yeah I'm prepared to move DAL if need be.  I've actually considered making an entirely new site just for it since it has evolved so much, but I'm afraid what will happen to MS if I move it.  (Heh...)

Yea yea, the prodigal admin returns.

It just happened to be the timing of the payment in relation to Spy's temporary holiday.

Michael J. Hill?

Heard of him. Never really talked to him. He's kind of, like... in another dimension for me. Like, I know he exists, but in a completely different world from mine. Ah well.
