The Holy Drannic Republic of Knights, among other things.
« on: March 19, 2007, 11:26:43 PM »
(Note: This post may be long, but it will explain some confusion among the history of the Drannic empire.)

This topic, as it says, is about the founding of the Holy Dranic Republic of Knights. I just want to point out one thing I may have screwd up about it. I mentioned in one of my posts that Lord Valimore VIII was the founder... well, not to say that he wasn't, but he's actually working against them now. When ever he suspects his minnions to be of ill-value, he sends them out into the Republic.

(Don't ask me why he's giving himself more than he can handle. I guess he's just stupid like all the bad guys eventually get. No offence to Retan. He's actually the only smart one there.)

About three years before now, the Republic finally figured out that Valimore is working with the dark empire, so they rebeled on the monistary and killed more than half the monks. 574 monks were guarding the monistary, and only 224 were left alive, and 200 of them badly crippled, and unable to fight. Back then, there were only 7 members of the Republic, so for them, they kicked some serious 'A'.

After the battle was over, the only one left in the Republic was Doriana Jane Nymphadora, a high-priced assassin who was actually just paid to help. After then, she became the un-suspecting leader of the Holy Drannic Republic of Knights, being the only one left alive.

In the Arctic region, there are five, peace-loving tribes:

The Umbradethians, More embraced with darkness,
The Drannicians, More embraced with earth and nature,
The Magmaficians, More embraced with heat and fire,
The Krysslacians, More embraced with water and frost,
And The Drannsmirians, More embraced with Health and Holiness.

These tribes flourished because of the two gods they worshipped (Umbranthose and Drannica). They were the ultimate gods of wisdom, power, life, and death. They ruled with equal power over all other gods in the domain of the negative dimension. Not a single mortal soul can enter the negative dimension until it looses it's body.

Two years before the rebelian, the tribes were forming together to form a civilization, which then lead to the rebelian annyways. Lodr Valimore VIII 'persuaded' the other dukes of the tribes to form this civilization by using unknown magic that had long since thought to have been extinct. It was a sort of illusion that had the training of ten-thousand years.

Doriana's father, the Duke of Drannicia, was killed before her own eyes. In order for the alliance to be formed between the tribes, The more berbaric Drannicians thought this as the best way to settle a feud. If one bested the strongest man in the tribe, they would take control. This was the only reason Doriana accepted the assassination job (which was planned to be secretive, but later broke out into a war). Well, that and the offer of imense riches promised after they sacked the great white-brick monistary's undercroft.

Eventually, all seven of the Republicans made it down into the undercroft, but to their demise, this was the resting place of the great gods Umbranthose and Drannica. When they were freed, they escaped the monistary and both possesed a child born on the same day the rebelian failed. This child was Justin.

(That about covers it. Any more questions on the history or lore of the Holy Drannic Republic of Knights, just post away; I'll be sure to respond!)

(chocking from rage): Are you... calling.... Kronos... DUMB?!  Shocked

Better put an axe under your pillow when you go to sleep.

(Actually, I think it was a bit dumb of Kronos to screw up right when his "galactic conquest" was taking place, but things seem to be running pretty well without him. Nevertheless, expect his return... soon...)

... Wow, that was neardy. +1 Neard point for Drannic and all of Dranniville! We hew!

... Yeah... that was even more neardy...

ANYWAYS... I'll see you guys when chapter thirteen sign-ups start again... *sigh*
