(sorry to bump)

Ah, are you getting anywhere with enom then? Cos I'll have to get me some of them EPP codes too.

Headache I didn't need.

No reply yet from eNom. I'm now opening a tentative dialogue with Othello to see what exactly they're going to do and for how much. I just want my domains out of xReg and (eventually) into GoDaddy. Might cost me though Sad

Man, when you told me the other day that it was working, I thought you meant the .com, and not the .net. Kept wondering why it still wasn't working for me, lol.

Talyn, great news! eNom finally got back to me and without question sent the EPP codes (which you need to authorise transfers) to the e-mails of the registrants (thankfully toolkitzone.com had my most recent hotmail e-mail address). So looks like there's no need to go through that silly Othello thing or bother with Nominent claims!

I'll put the transfers through and see if they work. If they do, I'll send you the e-mail I wrote so you can copy the style (since it's sent to their legal department) and we'll be free! FREE!

Hopefully this means the .com will be back tomorrow! Yay.

Processed the transfers, but it requires further authorisation from the current registrar apparently. I believe this isn't eNom but xReg, which is bad since they arn't there to confirm...heh. However, I do remember reading somewhere that there's a deadline to their response and if it isn't met then it is considered authorised, something like 5 days. So a slight delay, but hopefully the transfers will still go through this week.

Awesome news about eNom getting back to you! Sending that email to me would be great thanks, really appreciate it. If you could throw it at my Gmail account (alex dot gisby at gmail dot com) that would be awesome Smile

Thanks for keeping me updated. Hopefully the 5 day trick will work. It sounds about right, I remember reading something similar somewhere.

I tried it... yeah, for me it is. MS *JUST* recovered from the exact same problem, though I'm not quite sure what it was.

Yeah, its down alright.  Pinging works from the cmd prompt, but no joy on attempts with FF.

The primary purpose for Mysticsoftware.net is now for several TKZ members to verify that TKZ is indeed down.

Interesting.

We seem to have an odd case of randomly self-deleting files around here at MS.  Just a few weeks ago darkagegames.net mysteriously got wiped (was a pain to re-upload).  Just the other day I had to re-install these forums.  I suspect some files got deleted or corrupted there.  Xav doesn't have rackhost dose he? ;)
