You know, that could've been broken up into several posts for the ease of reading... but I guess you have an excuse, as you can only access DAL twice a week. Still, two posts would've worked better for this.

Anywho, enough with the bitching, now I'm gonna go and actually read it. =)

Only the bottom part with Puco has any influence in the story, and all the Shuichi brabble is the interlude description.

Ein, did you know that "pan" and "pani" are mister and lady in Polish?

Edit: Updated Shuichi's page with the story of Essylian. And looks.

Hey guys <Handle: Melchoir> here, hoping I can join with you guys this chapter. I'm very new at Play-by-Post RPing, so take it easy on me if I mess up Wink.

I've got two characters here for judgment, lemme know if there's anything that needs changing or redoing (such as the entire character, HA!), if I'm missing something, or if you have any overall questions or suggestions. I hope I wasn't too descriptive...

Characters:
-Bishop
-Jasper

"Well... I think I look dashing..."
Name: Unnamed (has recently been referred to as "Bishop")
Gender: Asexual (uses male pronouns)
Race: Gel
Specialization: None
Age: 7 (A human equivalent of 35)
Job: None
Weapon: Jasper (described separately)
Alliance: None
Description: Bishop is a medium-small gel, a normally primitive and simple creature. He is slightly smaller then an average Labrador Retriever, has a volume of approximately 14 gallons (53 liters), weighs 197 pounds (89 Kilograms), and is an opaque light blue in color.
Bio: Bishop was an unremarkable gel living in the northern continent. A week after an uncomfortable bright light frightened most of the wildlife into hiding, he came across a human corpse in the middle of nowhere, with only mild decay (a high point in any gels day). While digesting the corpse over the next few days, Bishop began to ponder what to do next. This, of course, startled him, as gels do not normally ponder. While mulling over his new found sense of "self" he set off, taking both the now skeletons belt and dagger (following Jasper's urging) and the skeletons leather cap 'because it looked nice' (against Japer's wishes, much to it's surprise and dismay).

"Just because you cannot see your wielder, do not think you are any less a weapon then I."
Name: Jasper
Gender: Asexual (uses genderless pronouns)
Race: None (Item)
Specializations: Twilight Magic, Telepathy, Dagger Mastery
Age: 176
Job: Currently None
Weapon: Itself, Bishop (Bishop is the title it gives it's wielder)
Alliance: The Red King
Description: Jasper is an ornate, intelligent dagger about 14 inches (35.56 centimeters) in length. It's handle seems expertly carved from a single amazingly large emerald, but it's surface is smooth, and it intangibly adjusts to be more comfortable to it's wielder. It's blade is simplistic in design, made of a mysterious metal, swirled in equal parts pearl white and opal black. It has a gruff, commanding personality. It is practically powerless without a wielder (the most it can do is harshly insult).
Bio: The Sovereign’s Hammer was unprecedentedly powerful, and it's effects were subtly felt throughout the time-space continuum and the multiverse. Six miles from Gros Morne, at the moment the shockwave tore through the air, a well dressed body fell to the ground. This was Balthasar, Jasper's former Bishop. And he was dead before he hit the ground. The shock of the event, and the surprising and painful lose of a Bishop, has heavily jarred and baffled Jasper.

Well, that's it from me, I hope I got the idea across well. Lemme know what'cha think!

Welcome, Melchior!

Mikado: of course I knew that. That's why I used them. Most of the foreign words I use are from Slavic languages. =)

EDIT: Or German. Heh.

You know Polish, or did you just translate?

From Polish I only use the Polish honorifics. I myself am originally Russian, and I speak the language fluently. Example:

Khodovik = Walker
Pauk = Spider
Vischy = The higher one

As for German, I do translate. Very Happy

Mikado:  Awesome post!

Melchior: Yes!

Totally approved.  PM me your desired password, and I will get your account set up so you can add your characters to DALpedia.

In the meantime, feel free to jump in the RP whenever you like.

Welcome aboard!

Good lord, where is that DM...

Anyway, I'm going to remake the KAF page on DALpedia. I need to write stuff about the Necrolyte order, the 10 regiments, the captains, and so on...

Yeah, we might also need to update a few other pages. Do I have the green light to just make up some of the dates for stuff the Federation did?

Request granted, DM. I must know more about my nation's enemy. =)

Anyway, been doing some DALpedia'ing. Here's the updated KAF article, check out the new links. Although of course my skills aren't as pro as Xorlak's, I kind of pride myself on those insignias. The KAF branch will get a lot bigger, by the way. Eventually, there will be information on all of the Regiments, captains and their lieutenants, as well as separate pages for all of the classes of Kandarinian warriors - Speargunners, Bladesmen, Vanguards, Necrolytes, Stalkers, and so on.

Awesome work, Ein.  Heck, I wasn't even that organized with the Dark Empire.  (Heh...)

Did you want Vincent to be the captain of regiment 4?  You may assume he is on vacation at the moment on some remote desert island. (Heh...)  I do plan on bringing him back, possibly next chapter.  Just feel like taking it easy on the character numbers and updates at the moment.

I kind of already made him the captain, sadly without asking =)

Yes, having him around would be great. He can be on a vacation, or on an assignment, or meditating in the mountains under a waterfall. Whichever.

And I also got stuck on creating Regiment 4's insignia. I thought it would be the wings with a little cog in the middle, but I'll be damned before I draw a good cog.
