Serge, who is a writer over at tk_gaming, has written a damn good preview of what's to come with the release of TK 3.0.4. Make sure you check out all the incredible features it will include.

Doesn't seem bad...

And I heard you can use the old cool interface rather than new, ugly one...

One thing still angers me, the sprites. You have to save every single one as gif or other image file... and generally I'll have to spend time to get used to new animations-as-items/chars.

Looks good. That's not the real Dark Age playing though, since there's no way you can get to the last boss with such low leveled characters, and Dr. Science and Gredrat are in inverted character positions (heh...).

...and according to OC, all tk2 commands work but some just don't do anything and display error message.

Now, who the hell put KSNilok's quote in that rev?!

The ones that give errors are deprecated (that's what the errors say). There are either better ways of doing it or replacements for the command(s). Razz

Well, there should also be option to auto-transfer all older commands into their existing new replacement upon transger.

Yeah, yeah... I want too much. Smile

You didn't actually expect me to play through the whole game to make a screenshot, did you? Razz

Deprecated commands are supposed to be marked as such, and should still be programmed to work, or point to another command.

They are marked as such and most call another command, the only time they don't is when the have no direct equivlent.

In such a case, you leave them in, or make an equivalent.
